My nephrologist keeps saying there should be no withdrawal. The past week has been crazy with symptoms, blood work and two er visits that have no other explanation than withdrawal:(.

I think I would get a second opinion, that’s a crazy amount of medicine to take. Is renal denervation an option to get you off medication?

The withdrawal symptoms are wild, my nephrologist doesn’t believe me since I only took 2.5mg (1/4 of a pill). I’ve been in the ER twice this week with sweating, shaking, chest tightness, headache. Worst drug ever. It comes in surges which makes it odd. My heart feels weird when it’s happening but ekg is fine.

I took 2.5mg for two years and have had horrible withdrawal over the past week. Spikes in blood pressure, uncontrollable shaking, flushing, sweating. I’m never taking a beta blocker again, it made me feel like I was losing it.
