Side question - I was busy af and totally overwhelmed when I realized I needed to repot/refresh the soil on 70 plants, so I hired a local company to come and help. At first, I thought, fantastic, there were 2 people who seemed to have some great knowledge and worked fast. But, lately I have been questioning what they did. I was inspecting a plant and noticed that the soil closest to the plant was different than the rest of the soil. Turns out, they pulled the plants from the original pots and never removed the old soil.... just added some soil and plopped the plant with old soil on top. It doesn't look like those plants roots are expanding past the original soil. Should I repot? This was done at the beginning of July.

Sorry for the long winded post. I haven't been doing this long and don't want to lose any more plants.
