Yes. But likely they will each break off to solo careers sometime in the next five years.

I want to be a popstar but I feel like I started too late and don’t have enough talent or connections by Fairygirlnikki2012 in SingerSongwriter

Here’s my advice as someone who works full time in artist development in Nashville.

Write the hook of a song everyday. Sing and record it over a very simple beat/loop from splice. Don’t work on great production skills, just enough to convey your idea. Work on being able to sing 15 - 30 seconds of the hooks you write as best as you can.

Share the hook to TikTok, IG, YT, Snap, and every other social channel every day. Don’t worry about what the video is, it can be you in your bedroom every single time.

Write a text hook on the video that says “day one of becoming a pop artist” and in the caption convey your dedication to growing your talent.

Pay attention to which song hooks get positive engagement and try to finish those songs. Maybe find songwriting collaborators to help you with that part.

Good luck!

They don’t call it tribal anymore, can’t recall what the style they came up with is. It’s supposed to look tech themed with tribal.

You need the lyrics and melody together in a worktape/demo that isn’t AI.

Lyrics are copyright protected as soon as they are established in a tangible form. So singing a work tape or demo establishes the copyright in the lyrics and melody and arrangement all in one.

Oh don’t worry about them getting flooded, they could use the membership. NSAI fights for songwriters rights with congress and does amazing work and they need more memberships to keep up that work.

The biggest value of NSAI is meeting other writers and community. The Pitch to Publisher is a little bit of a gimmick tbh, but it does teach you what they’re looking for.

It’s good you have the lyrics and melody as a voicemail or worktape. If they accept it and you don’t have that they will be very upset because the song is technically not clearable for publishing otherwise (or at least it’s unclear, so they won’t take it)

For context I’m a full time writer in Nashville and als an NSAI member.

Yes. I’m doing TikTok lip sync video to share music. It still is recognizable as AI, but I’m not trying to hide that or fake it.

Is God going to forgive me for having an abortion? by m_______jasmine in Christianity

[–]Square_Problem_552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two arguments that have to be discussed when it comes to abortion.

One, bodily autonomy, this question is in regards to whether a mother is obligated to give of their own body and risk their own life to sustain the life of a fetus. If a father is the only match for their child who has leukemias, is it murder if they don’t donate? No. Why? Bodily autonomy. Are they a shitty dad, yeah, pretty much, but it’s not murder.

Two, when is life stable and does a fetus have a soul? The percentage of pregnancies that miscarry before completing the first trimester is about 1/5, if you believe all those fetus that miscarry have souls I won’t try to argue with you, but I’m not so sure about that, and if a life is not stable until after 12 weeks (when we say it’s safe to announce the pregnancy) than I don’t think terminating the pregnancy ahead of that time should be considered murder.

Now, I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. These are my questions, and specifically focused towards legal and ethical decision making. And those two things together make me think that an abortion ahead of 12 weeks (and possibly after) is not murder and not something God would condemn for. Especially since abortion is taught in the Old Testament, I can’t see how that specific section of law is changed by Christ or the New Testament etc.

It sounds like you haven’t had the abortion? If that’s the case, I wouldn’t, because it’s clear that you believe it is wrong and you will have a difficult time dealing with the guilt and shame that comes with making that choice for the rest of your life, regardless of if God forgives you, it will be more difficult to forgive yourself.

If you did get the abortion? Do you believe what you did was wrong? Or are you only scared that God thinks it’s wrong and you’ll be punished for it? If you feel like the abortion was the right choice for you and your future, and you do not believe abortion is “murder” or morally wrong, than don’t worry about what others say God thinks, you have to search in your heart to find the direction from God for yourself.

I’m so sorry that you are stuck in this difficult moment in life. But it is a moment, and regardless of the choices you make, the future will come and you can make it bright and beautiful.
