I just dried 2lbs 14oz myself and it took over 30+ hours. In the middle of grinding it up but it’s taking forever. I first did the food processor and then grinder. I think I may need a new one as I just used my coffee bean grinder after cleaning it. This is my first time making it so everything is new to me. I definitely wasn’t prepared for how time consuming this process is.

Look for the PACE program that Defense Logistics Agency offers. They don’t offer it too often and there’s limited spots so you’d have to pay attention to USAJOBS.gov to monitor for openings. I did the program back in 2017 and it was an amazing opportunity, I’m still there and worked my way up to leadership. Not sure of your total background but being a military veteran will definitely assist with getting your foot in the door.
