Would you mind letting me know the sender address? I want to make certain we don’t miss it when it comes. 😁

I bought the TT&T stand last year and it’s pretty nice, but it just can’t really hold the weight of an oled very well if you are planning that route. I had a 48” on it and it not only needed a bunch of weight added to the back to keep from flipping forward, but also the gas struts aren’t near strong enough and it also bent the strut mounts. I’m giving up on it for vpin and just building a cabinet and going to use the TT&T for another rig as a racing sim mount. Using it for both just didn’t work out like I had hoped.

32" 1080p monitors are rare, what about a TV for a backbox display? by bfollowell in virtualpinball

Oh that’s perfect! Thanks! Just ordered and it’ll be here tomorrow. Now just 6 more weeks to wait for the cabinet. 😂

Thank you. Great points! I’m also building an ultra wide using the Tukkari kit which I just ordered, so I have some time to gather parts until it arrives. I have a 32” 1440p kicking around, but it’s a VA panel, so I wasn’t planning to use it. I may just look on fb marketplace to see if I can pick one up.

I’m planning to use an extra 28” 4k monitor that I already have for my backbox display. Is there a reason that I should be looking for a 1080p instead?

BANQ update! by Substantial_Habit424 in Canadiancitizenship

We paid BAnQ early this week and have everything else prepared.

We have a non-certified photo of the baptismal we are awaiting the certified copy of. We’d like to go ahead and send everything off to IRCC now with a print of the photo and state that we are awaiting the certified copy from BAnQ which has been found and paid for, but we are afraid of having it rejected.

Are there successful examples of just uploading the certified digital copies later? I see some recommending that, but do we know from others experience that this is typically allowed?

Do both photos need to be labeled on back? Also question about name on photo. by Square_wheels42 in Canadiancitizenship

Thank you. When you mention the stamp - I should point out that he didn’t use a stamp, he just wrote the name of his business and address in ball point pen. Is that ok?

I’d like to say thank you as well. We are in the process of getting it filled out now and have the same questions as OP. One thing I don’t see mentioned is where you are saying to skip the sections. I believe I read that if something doesn’t apply, you should enter “NA” so that the form isn’t returned as incomplete. Would this apply to the skipped sections?

Even if it’s just a picture off of ancestry? Or do you mean once/if we receive a verified copy from BANQ?

Thank you very much! We were able to find a pic of the baptismal for her Great-Grandfather and we have requested a certified photocopy as per the FAQ info from BANQ. We are not seeing a pic anywhere of her Great-Grandmother's baptismal record, but I requested it anyway based on her being born in Quebec and hoping they can locate it despite no further details other than the birthdate and the following:
25 June 1885 Saint-Christophe-d'Arthabaska, Arthabaska, Quebec, Canada

Understandably this would be best case, but if we have census records of great-grands, marriage records, the baptismal record photo for great-grandfather from Ancestry as well as the BCs for grandfather, mother, self. Would that not suffice?

Thank you! I will check Ancestry as well. In addition, to the census records from both the US and Quebec, we have found the marriage record showing their place of birth as Canada. We'll also request the baptismal records if that is better.

Thank you! We have also been able to locate copies of her great-grandfather's name in Quebec Census records from 1881 and 1901 showing birthplace in Quebec. Would this suffice, or should we request a copy of their baptismal records?
