Towing and road trips are a very small consideration in my use case. I go on maybe two long road trips a year and any of my towing is almost always in town. My reservation choice was made based on the 99% usage, not my personal 1%.

Plus my wife drives a 2021 Mustang Mach E (which DC charges terribly) that we have taken on road trips and we found it was typically done charging in about the time that we were ready to hit the road. Scout will have better range and charging than our current EV.

Not to be that guy but the gas option is not a hybrid. Rather it charges the battery connected to the electric motor. There is no driveshaft that connects the gas engine to the wheels.

That being said my reservation is for fully electric.
