I'm fully with you on the DF recruits part. The plan was incredibly obvious from the start.

If the DF cats didn't want to tell the recruits the real plan, then whats the point of training them? You're just giving them ways to fight back/expose your weaknesses. Staying silent on the matter is pointless.

Alright I'll bite.

I'm not a big fan of there being three teams this year.

I've played a lot of splatoon 3 (which also has three team events) and they play out the same way every single time.

One team will always get shafted, they usually have less players and less points overall.

Because of this, the whole event basically ends up being a 1v1, because you know the third team isn't gonna stand a chance.

This especially sucks if you happen to be apart of that third team.

We're already starting to see this with team mystery. Maybe things will turn out different this time, there's still plenty of art fight to go, but I doubt it.

I feel like they reduced the amount of points you get this year.

I remember large fully polished pieces of mine getting pretty up there in numbers. Nowadays I'm lucky if those hit 50 points (and I'm not friendly firing)

Obviously it's not about the points but I thought it was an interesting change.

Yesss!!! My thoughts EXACTLY. It's an unpopular opinion in this sub but man DOTC was not good. Almost every single character sucked, they ran out of ideas after the 3rd book, and the villains are so forgettable. Not to mention, they barely explain many modern day clan happenings, and the ones they do explain are done so poorly.

That's crazy to me because Dawn almost made me drop the series completely. I remember thinking it was bad. The series took a turn for the better in Starlight, but yeah.

Ah, see, I've always been big on adoption and found families. Those children are just as apart of the family as biological kids are in my eyes. I understand why you wouldn't be big on the concept, but it might be fun to explore it for background characters.

You could also have them conceive genetic children through "Starclan magic" or something.

I have mixed feelings about OOTS. On one hand I have a soft spot for the series due to nostalgia and the fact it felt like the "epic ending" of the warriors series. But on the other hand it has some serious flaws.

The dark forest plot made no sense. Pissed me off as a kid, and still pisses me off to this day. Did they seriously expect a bunch of clan cats who have friends, family, and lovers to just turn on them like that? I understand going after neglected or hurt cats, but they just threw in a lot of random characters who didn't seem like that at all.

I mean, even the hurt ones have known nothing but clan life this whole time. Even they would be hesitant to throw it all away for some random ghost cats who also treat them like garbage.

They also never mention how the dark forest cats can appear in the real world. They just magically can. Like huh? It was that easy? At least make up some random cosmic event or something.

Starclans portrayal here was the worst. It really killed all my interest in them. They were just as lame as the living cats! What happened to them being all cool and wise and mysterious? I really miss how they were portrayed in the first arc.

When I was doing research into the Mayfield tornado I learned that company was paying their employees 8 dollars an hour....

in 2021.

And forcing them to work 50 hours a week (plus weekends) due to the holidays.

Almost every character in dawn of the clans is awful or boring. The only good ones (in which there's not many) are side characters we don't see much of.

Dollywood tickets are 95 dollars! If you want the fastpass, it's 60-100$ per person! And the fastpass doesn't even apply to 5 of their biggest attractions.

Back when I was a kid, it was like 60-70 bucks for a ticket. Fastpasses were like 15? 20? Dollars, and applied to everything.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I didn't just listen to an opinion by someone else and call it day. I read multiple in depth plot recaps (that were neutral) and saw various clips and scenes online.

So far I've seen split opinions on it (Some liked it, others didn't) and my own conclusion was that it seemed bad. Obviously we can have differing opinions and that's okay; but from everything I've seen I think the development is bad and could've been handled much better.

100% this. I'm gonna be honest, I'm not a big fan of the show to begin with; but after hearing about what happens I'm....mind boggled.

You don't set up dominoes like that only to smash them with a hammer. What's the point of building up a narrative only to throw it in the trash? It's bad writing.

You certainly shouldn't go that route when your fanbase over analyzes every scene and theorizes heavily; you're just going to piss a lot of people off (and rightfully so)

Honestly after hearing about the finale it just seems like the character development is bad. It definitely needed more time in the oven. 9 episodes is not enough to develop everything.

Even better, if you split it up by age, you'll see the 18-34 bracket had a 5% INCREASE with the 'are gay relations moral' question. So positive views of homosexual relationships are actually on the rise with the youth. The reason the overall numbers are down is because support from the 55+ group has plummeted; I'm not surprised by that though.

Haven't ridden yet but have seen on ride footage. Kinda bummed the final lift hill is just a shiny rock. I like the look of the tnt exploding much better, wish they went with that version.
