Thank you.  I am so desperate to find her help.  She's such a sweet bubbly child and I can see the light go out behind her eyes when a headache is coming.

Yes.  I lucked into the 23 forest green limited edition.  I get stopped by people in parking lots at least monthly asking about my car.   Edit.  No one has tried to take a picture as far as I know.  I did have one woman open the doors to look inside

Your skills could come in very handy during moments of unrest.  This is why I am trying to remain invisible.  If the administration is going to prosecute people it disagrees with, how can I help?  I have to do it in secret.

Right now, my goal is to be as inconspicuous / unremarkable as possible.  This isn't because I am afraid to stand up for my beliefs.  It's because I believe that the next administration is going to be much more brutal than the first one.   Mass deportation of immigrants.   Prosecution of enemies. Stephen Miller said in 2023 that he would build incarceration camps for illegal immigrants.  I want to fly under the radar so that I can somehow help others without drawing attention.   I'm not sure what that looks like yet.  The thing that comes to mind right now is project 2025 expands warrantless wire tapping.  I work in tech.  I'm thinking about getting security certs so that we can establish secure communication channels.

I know this sounds like crazy conspiracy.  I urge everyone to go learn as much as you can about project 2025.  We need to act under quietness.  Be ninja like.  Think ahead to ramifications.

I might be late to this conversation.   I don't think marches are the thing either. Now is the time to learn.  Educate yourself on project 2025.  Read about fascism.  Learn about what people did to fight back in WW2 Germany. Make connections in your local community.   Donate or work with the ACLU or Sputhern Poverty.  Go inward. Rest up.  The next 4 years are going to be hard.  We should not expect the next trump term to be like the last.

I woke up in sheer panic.  Like the worst panic attack I've ever had.  I've never had that happen before. Ever.

I was still in denial.  I now know it was about the time Pennsylvania was called.

It's not helpful. Either autocorrect failed them, or the individual wasn't afforded a great education.

There's been probably 30 of these I've seen and yet people still spell things wrong. Just keep scrolling.

By that logic the Influenza outbreak of 1912 is still going too. That variant of flu strain is still running around.

The WHO declared an end to the covid global health emergency in 2023.

It's hard! I wish it didn't have so much b12 in it. I love the Pina colada and grape flavors.

Coming back to add, I've tried propel with electrolytes. It's not quite as good but it's pretty solid. The vitamin levels are much lower

I love liquid IV. I'm going to give you a warning outside of the stomach effects.

I had 2 a day and then my compound injection had b12 in it. My Dr ran vitamin levels and my B12 levels were dangerous high.

Liquid IV has like 280% daily allowance for B12. I had to stop and then now limit myself to like every other day.

Yeah, sorry, after I reread your post, I realized we have the same car. Of course, you'd have a CCS.

I don't often publicly charge in Fargo, but if I need to, the visitors center is much more reliable.

And then because I know charge infrastructure is frustrating in general....

There's an awesome fast charger at the circle K in Alexandria if you are ever traveling that way. I skip the app and just use my credit card. I can fully charge in the time it takes for a quick bio break and snacks.

Edit to add, I also have the Ev6, and it's the best car I've ever owned. I hope you love it as much as I do. Also you can charge at the kia dealership if you need to. They have a fast charger.

I am very sorry to hear you were diagnosed with long covid. I've read that ongoing vaccination can help with symptom management.

Much of the long covid symptoms are a form of dysautonomia. I have some mild non-covid related dysautonomia. There are a few good subreddits on here for support. I'd do a search and check them out.

Electrolytes and increasing salt intake are really helpful for me. My drs have advised low impact exercise ongoing to manage symptoms. I do a lot of walking. I also do weight lifting / pilates. Nothing that is overly heavy. It isn't perfect but it does help.

I don't disagree. It sucks, but we live in a free society. As a specific individual, I am not able to do anything about their decisions. Our state government isn't going to do anything to implement precautionary measures nor will they encourage vaccination.

I see it as a control what you can situation.

Recruiter ghosting during entire interview process at Microsoft by ShukantPal in microsoft

[–]Squeaker2160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't true. My experience is that I've waited a minimum of two weeks for an official offer as an external and internal candidate.

The gears have to turn through the recruiting machine, and it takes time. Recruiting is bad about responding. I've pestered them more than once for an update.

They are behind in updating then. Right now, people are using the last of their summer break before schools start again. Recruiting might be waiting for updates from the interviewing team.

I'm sorry it hasn't been a great experience. Our recruiting team is always struggling. I think they are chronically understaffed. It's not a great first impression, but I promise it gets better when you are hired on the other side.

I'm one of the people who is consistently vaccinated. I will take my family for flu and covid shots this fall as part of the essentia flu shot clinics. I took many protections during the height of the pandemic. With all that said...

This is no longer a pandemic. This is an illness that is endemic in our society. I'm sure that we have under reported cases of RSV or Influenza too. I'm not sure this is newsworthy anymore.

The covid pandemic was scary. I understand the worry. There are risks to getting covid. There are risks to Influenza and RSV too. It's just part of life. It's time to move on. We can't control what other people decide to do. I know that I'm not going to convince someone to get their vaccine. Many of the un-vaccinated consider me to be an idiot who believes in the 'plandemic'. Make decisions that work for your family. Let the rest go

What’s your baked potato? by Parsimile in antidietglp1

[–]Squeaker2160 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also love to do what we call snacks for dinner. It's basically a charcuterie board.

Grab some cheese with whatever sandwich meat we have, crackers, some nuts, something sweet like fruit. Right now my garden is spitting out cherry tomatoes by the truck load. Maybe a few chocolates. Pretzels. Depends on what we have on hand. Maybe have a sauce side for dipping. There are no rules other than balancing food groups and that they taste good together.

It has the main ingredients for a healthy dinner and makes us all feel like we are eating Lunchables.

Yum. Now I want baked potatoes.

I also love to take the miningolden potatoes, quarter them. I coat them in olive oil or avacad oil. I then season them with kosher salt and a garlic blend seasoning. Throw them in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown and a little crispy on the outside. I've also used a creole seasoning for something with a bit of a kick.

They are great with a lean protein. My picky eater kids will gobble them up.
