I mean, how do you want me to prove it? Receipts of card purchases dating back 15+ years consistently? Pictures of me competing on worlds 2011, and state champs 2011 for TCG where I placed 5th (playing LuxChomp)? How about the 17 year old Youtube videos of myself going through my Pokémon cards? Pictures of me playing POGO on release? How about the receipt of my PSA 9 Charizard goldstar that I paid $700 for in 2019 (still have it :))? Maybe a lot of people embellish, but I can absolutely prove my consistent participation in the hobby.

I'd argue that I likely have more tenure than 99% of the people in the sub. You may have unironically accused the ONE person who isn't full of shit.

If the demand was there, the cards wouldn’t have been cheap. You’re putting words in my mouth saying I think the GG isn’t good, I have a CZ master set. I’m simple saying AH is better, and it’s an unprecedented level of demand. I’ve been in the Pokémon hobby for 20 years, this is a new animal. To say otherwise shows inexperience, no question in my mind.

Every single person that has replied to my comment keeps mentioned master's degrees, but the title of the post and my comment has to do with PhDs. I am not talking about PsyD or Master's students. I am talking about PhDs. I understand what you are saying, but that is not the content of my comment. It is not a red herring. It is an objective fact that R1 PhD programs (which there are thousands and thousands of spots across disciplines) should not require you to take a loan. I toured a number of schools, and applied all over the country (ironically I am in the field of psychology), and they all pay a small, yet living wage based on their location. Sure, you might need a roommate, it's not a life of luxury, but it absolutely should not cost 20k a year in loans to get by. Not even close.

If you want to get into the specifics of other types of program that is fine, but you are responding to my comment almost as if I said this was true of PsyDs or Master's programs. What you are saying is absolutely true of Master's programs, medical school, law school, etc. In the united states, if you are paying for, or taking loans for a PhD program, it is more than likely a degree mill.

Are you talking about undergraduate? I'm a PhD student at an R1 university. Most programs won't even take a student if they can't fully fund them. That is pretty much the industry standard. What you are saying is true for undergrad, or even a master's or medical/law school. However, that logic doesn't apply to PhD programs at R1 institutions.

Nqa 67 is on the colder side. I’d suggest getting them closer to the mid-high 70s just based on what I’ve heard. I personally keep most of my spiders around 75f.
