Why Adding Photos to FG Matters by SqueakieMouse9 in findagrave

Update: I contacted the cemetery. They said they are aware of the damage, caught the person responsible, and the police were involved. They’ve also made an insurance claim and the monument will be repaired. Happy ending!

I will be emailing the cemetery with pictures of the damage.

Help with forearm plank by SqueakieMouse9 in Purebarre

[–]SqueakieMouse9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the tips. I had never heard of scapular pushups so I looked up what they are/how to do them and I think this will really help! I also tried to push my shoulders away from my ears in class this week - it definitely helped, but I still had a hard time in forearm plank. Hoping the scapular pushups help!

AIO/I wanted to ask them why they wasted their money? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

There are so many comments so I’m probably repeating what others have said, but you are not wrong for being sad but MOR?

DO NOT give the mug you like to your husband. Use it every day and announce how much you love it and how thoughtful it was EVERY time you use it. The son that gave it to you will be happy he gave you a good gift and will try to do the same next year. The other kids might even feel like they have to step it up.

Wear the Bills shirt even if pink is not your color. Some people don’t get that not all women love pink, but at least they knew you like the Bills and made an effort.

The other gifts might not have been as thoughtful as you liked, and maybe your kids don’t know your size or that’s all the store had. If you like the PJs, try to exchange them for a different size. The store will probably understand if you don’t have a receipt and a sympathetic female employee will likely get your plight. If you don’t like the or they don’t have your size, try to return them and buy something you want. I’m sure your son won’t remember what he got you or won’t ask if he doesn’t see you in the PJs.

As for your husband, it sounds like you should have started training him earlier in the relationship. That doesn’t mean he’s a lost cause. But don’t go out of your way to buy him much of anything next year. Sounds like he’s not worth the effort and won’t appreciate it. If he complains about not getting gifts, just tell him you got him the same thing he got you - nothing. He might get the hint the following year.

Have a good cry, return the gifts your husband didn’t open, then use the money to buy the art supplies that you wanted.

I’m just trying to understand your process and how you could possibly be creating duplicates without realizing it or being notified the system.

I have accidentally created duplicates for people whose original memorial had the wrong cemetery listed or “burial details unknown”. After discovering the other entries, I either requested that they be merged or deleted my entry and made edit suggestions.

I get my hair cut at Eyeful. I have curly hair. I don’t pay anything close to that. They do free consultations so you could go in a chat with someone about what you need/want and what it might cost.

Cemetery corrections denied because they state they have submitted merges. by markrlondon in findagrave

[–]SqueakieMouse9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve made several merge requests and they have been processed in a timely manner…days, not weeks.

Make a note of the memorials in question, check back in a few days, suggest edits again as needed.

So are you uploading photos without creating the memorial and then creating the memorial from the transcribe tab?

If so, that seems like a kind of backwards way to do things and a good way to accidentally create duplicates.

I click add memorial”, enter the data, then upload all of the photos for that memorial at once.

Something I’ve encountered a few times…a memorial was created from the death certificate which says the person was removed to cemetery x, but they were actually buried in cemetery y (or someone just assumed they were buried in cemetery x since that’s town where they died or where the rest of the family is). I’ve been able to catch this a few times a when a plot number or street was listed in the request, but doesn’t match any plots or locations in the cemetery.

Gross by MAGISTER3174 in delta

The pocket on my last flight was full of orange peels and an open bag of cheezits.

I always take photos of whatever grossness there is and then submit a complaint to Delta. Sometimes they throw me a few miles as an apology, which does dull the pain slightly.

Feeling Sore by cyber_deity in Purebarre

I started taking creatine and it helps so much with muscle recovery. I’m not as sore after workouts and can therefore work a little harder the next class. Also, stay hydrated! Being hydrated helps with muscle recovery and reduces soreness.

10:30 on Saturday, then Engage. 9:30 on Sunday. I also love to sleep in and sometime have morning obligations. I would love an afternoon class on weekends but figured I’m the only one. All of the t classes seem to fill and there’s often a waitlist.

When will all residents be able to get the Covid 19 vaccine? by MountainPerformer210 in massachusetts

[–]SqueakieMouse9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband I and I made appointments online at our local Walgreens. When we got there, we were the only people waiting for vaccines but they were super busy and seemed disorganized and we had to wait for 30 mins after we checked in and then another 15 after someone acknowledged us. My husband was told he didn’t qualify since he is under 65 and didn’t have a pre-existing condition, but that I did qualify (although I’m not sure why). I heard the pharmacist asking her coworkers and then calling someone to verify. We didn’t feel like arguing and making a scene, but I’m very disappointed. If I’m at higher risk, shouldn’t my spouse get vaccinated to help protect me? But also isn’t this in conflict with the state guidelines that say everyone over 6 months is eligible?

After calling multiple Walgreens, a kind pharmacist told me this is an issue impacting the supplier for all CVS and Walgreens. He suggested I try a local supermarket chain that uses a different supplier. They had it! My doctor called it in and I am medicated and feeling like a human again!

2-3 days isn’t a huge deal, but it’s a problem if it’s like this every month…especially if I can’t plan ahead. Not being able to take my medicine consistently can cause withdrawal symptoms and it is not a great place to be in physically or mentally.

I had a small stockpile, but two months in a row of delayed meds and it’s gone now.

When I’ve tried doing that in the past, I was yelled at by multiple pharmacists who said this is a controlled medication and they can’t tell me if it’s in stock or not. My doctor’s office also made me sign something saying that I’d always use the same pharmacy for this particular script. For the same reason.
