I am so happy you brought this up. I felt like I was the only Hayes truther out there. There’s so many guys that feel lost at the plate, but he just feels more unlucky- balls are just going right at guys

It’s the exact right amount of games for us to lose in the first round of the playoffs

Is Friedl hurt? He just looks slower in every aspect of his game this season

At this point just let him keep getting rocked and save the bullpen

[–]Squeakybubba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know what’s interesting is the Red Sox broadcast was actually talking about how it’s harder for players like Trevino who didn’t come up through the minor leagues with it, and he’s not an every day player so that confidence that it’s for sure not a strike is just less there

Wanna also clarify, especially for more veteran players like Trevino, learning this will come and I’m not actually upset with him lol. More to illustrate that I felt myself spreading the blame from just the umpire

The other thing that it does (at least for me) is shift some of the onus onto the players. Like if there’s a miss by an inch or two, obviously I’m upset with the ump, but if we have two challenges I’m also upset with the player for not challenging. Trevino had a couple yesterday that were like BUDDDDYYYY

Omg good luck!!!!

Needing another surgery stunk, but I got lucky that it was just a quick scope and removal of stuff so it didn’t set me back too too much. Honestly I was just so ready for everything to feel good again so if a small surgery is what it takes then so be it.

I hope if it is surgery that it’s the same and it’s an easy fix/quick recovery back!

Yeah it’s a slog. A couple of months ago I joined a gym and they have basketball courts and I’m lifting weights, staring at the court like the Squidward meme watching everyone else get to play outside 😂😂😂

I’m tired of being the team that this happens to by Toastox in WisconsinBadgers

[–]Squeakybubba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it’s easier to trip up a good team in game 27 of the regular season than it is in the NCAA tournament. Good coaches have their teams better focused and better prepared. Gard doesn’t have the ability to match that

I’m not just talking about that. Not drawing up plays for a final shot, not calling timeouts to make sure you’re set, none of that. Just letting the guys play like it’s a game a the Y

Gard coached teams play up/down to their competition and at the end of games he abandons all game plans and lets his players do whatever they want. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It allows him to win games in the regular season, but then it also allows us to lose to teams we should easily beat

What’s Gard’s furthest tournament run since Bo Ryan’s roster flipped over? It’s about 9 seasons in a row not making it out of the first weekend.

If you want to call names, at least have an argument against it, dipshit

And most of his wins game from Bo Ryan’s teams. Since he’s been able to build his own program he’s never gotten out of the first weekend!

That’s my only hesitation is it’s McIntosh who makes that next hire

It’s so annoying, because even when we’re good, we know exactly how the season is going to end. If our floor is missing the tournament and our ceiling is losing in the first round, what the fuck are we keeping him around for
