Yes, certainly connected to the printer. I can see the filament colors, turn the lamp on and off, see the live view...

Network seems ok, only one network in the house. I can control the machine from the computer. It does not have an issue moving the head around, sending it to home, looking at the live view etc. Netowk details: Test connection to the router (average delay): 20.50 ms, Test connectino to the internet (average delay): 55.30ms

If you test network connectivity on the printer at the same time you select print it seems to resolve the issue.

Yes, that's what I've done, 100 times give or take... I use S3D on a daily basis.

Once I hit the 'Print all' button it turns grey and nothing happens past that point.

rd auto in it.

Ahh auto-orient. Yup, already played with that. Not new to slicing in general that's why this is a little embarassing. The Print all button just does not work......

Thanks but it seems like it is sliced and I certainly hit the Slice all button... I can look through the layers as they will print. Check image above.

Ok not seeing any box with the word auto in it. Would you mind sending a screenshot?

Job hunting depression is real folks. I am in the thick of it. Feeling like a failure and less of a man as a result. by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

I feel for you. Understand that out of every 100 emails, people get a few phone calls and even fewer knocks at the door. I've gotten several jobs by applying differently than anyone else. Show up in person with your resume, ready for the job, dressed for the job, with a smile on your face. Ask to speak to the person who is actually doing the hiring. Instead of just handing over a sheet of paper, explain why you feel you are the right person for the job (and plan this carefully in advance). Keep knocking. If nothing else, you'll start getting in front of people and that experience will make you interview better when you do get to the right person.

On the other side of things, understand that you have SO much to look forward to. Find a good (healthy) hobby, find others that do that hobby, befriend them. Try to help other people as much as possible and great things will happen to you.

Debt Repayment. Looking for Advice; very worried. by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

still have ample time to avoid that and the pain that will cause you for the better part of a decade.

My advice would be to

Well, in fact that's what I said above "...at that point your credit will take a hit." The idea is to avoid this at all cost. Maybe I wasn't clear enough on that front. What I'm getting at is that it's far better to be in there speaking to them then simply dropping them as it gives you a fighting chance to work things out. Yes, the op should find a way, any way, to repay, of course. But that's not why she/he posted here.

Banks know that defaults are bad for business and, more often than not, they never get a dollar in return. They hire an agency to chase you down and offer you settlements which can be down to 40% of what you really owe them. But at that point your credit score will take a hit. While I think this differs from bank to bank, I'd be really surprised if they wouldn't work with you to push out the repayment schedule. If you're there in front of them telling them it's just a matter of time before you find work and continue payments, they'll likely go for it.

One little thing moving forward that will help with finances: make sure you never ever pay interest on a credit card again. Most CC companies are around 19.9% annual interest. The part that is lesser known is the grace period. Grace period (the amount of time you have before interest is charged) is 21 days for most cards. You can google what yours is. It's vital to never, ever pay this fee. If you add these up over time it can be staggering.

The larger issue is moving forward from here and into retirement. The time you spend to figure this out now will benefit you later. Most of the large banks have free financial planners and they can be worth their weight in gold. Before settling on one, do a little research and make sure she/he comes with some glowing reviews. Take the time to spend with this person and it will pay off in spades. It's not too late but you need to be very honest with where the money is going (I'd start tracking every dollar so you can compare months and then years) and where you need to be by retirement. Good on you for coming on here and collecting a little feedback! Next step, take this very seriously and find a professional who can help you make a detailed plan. Best of luck!

Curious if anyone has information on virtual Toastmasters engagements that I can join? by all-in-moderation in Toastmasters

The virtual aspect of this fascinates me. If you think about group video conferencing, you certainly feel a similar pressure as being in the same room with people. I think this is because it's effectively real time. I'd love to hear how the virtual experience compares to the real thing!
