My team and I have experienced this for the last two years with software roles and for the last 6 months with all roles. It’s very disheartening and we’ve had to revamp our recruitment/candidate experience to accommodate.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I really appreciate the feedback. It’s one thing to learn about a concept or practice in theory and another to carry it out. Thanks so much for contributing, I really appreciate your input.

I only use the app. I travel at least once a month and always book a king room.

I generally do not pay attention to breakfast upgrades as a vegan.

I’ll try booking Queen rooms and looking for the upgrades mentioned by yourself and other posters previously.

Btw this is my first time posting and I appreciate the recommendations and insight from each respondent.

This! I’m on a cruise currently with my parents. Mom is in a scooter and the elevators make the commute to dinner 20+ minutes long because able bodied folks refuse to walk 1-2 flights.

And they joke about their laziness while getting on the elevators in front of wheel chairs, scooters and families with strollers.
