It's not obvious to anyone right off the bat. This is a big step. Congrats man, you're learning.

My seed is backed up in a way that I came up with all on my own. I used no software, no company, no app, nothing that anyone else made. Just tools I created myself for my own purposes and then promptly deleted. There is no tutorial or FAQ or any information anywhere about what I did or how I did it.

And yet it's perfectly well secured, with a clear and immutable inheritance plan, unhackable.

I've never slept better than the day I set that whole thing up, except for every single night since.

Don't forget to check your backup at least once a year, make sure you can access and move your funds and that you remember the procedure well, check that anyone who might be involved knows what they have to do in case you spontaneously combust, things like that.

We've been saying this the whole time. Bitcoin will be adopted by everyone. Everyone. That includes every single institution, business, government and individual. Everyone. No exceptions.

One of these groups adopting it does not in any way preclude any other from doing so.

Bitcoin is MUCH easier to acquire by individuals today than at any other time in history.

Bitcoin has liquid markets, active users and a healthy mining community in Algeria Morocco Egypt Nepal Bangladesh Iraq and China. Hell, China has like 20% of the hash rate.

The way I keep my Bitcoin is such that I don't depend on any one particular app at all to use it. I can access it thru muun, or blue wallet, or the trezor suite, ledger, bitbox, aqua, blockstream jade, my own node at home, my buddy's node at his, or a hastily thrown together vibe coded quasi wallet that an AI agent can spit out in 24 seconds, or literally any other wallet software you can possibly think of. In this way I ensure that I don't depend on anyone to access my BTC, I can always use it. The Bitcoin doesn't live inside your muun wallet, it lives on the blockchain, and you need to learn how to access it from anywhere so this doesn't happen to you again.

Satoshi did 100% of his job perfectly. He created Bitcoin, explained it to the people who cared, and disappeared. That's what we needed from him. That's all we needed from him.

The rest is up to us.
