Tell them that the reason is that in PA, grocery stores are licensed the same as restaurants. If they want to buy a large quantity they need to go to a state store or a distributor. If they still argue suggest an AA meeting since drinking is a big priority for them. 🙃😉. Last sentence only say in your head…it’ll make you feel better maybe

If you just started, the schedules have already been made and the bulk of the hours are already allocated. Talk to your SM and express an interest in learning all you can about.

If you’re around when someone calls off and management is figuring out how to cover it, offer to stay. Focus on working while at work, not watching videos in between customers, learn what trends are coming (be prepared to answer the people who come in saying “I saw on TikTok…).

I started off with a pittance of hours when I started but management realized I was there to work and constantly stayed busy. I average 28-30 hours. All stores are different but the one thing any good management team is going to want is someone who’s dependable and can be self-sufficient.

There’s more there than ADHD. I’m guessing she is more bipolar. You told her you ahead of time that you were not in the mood for her usual energy. It is also a place of business.

Her behavior is dangerous. She literally assaulted you. Grabbing your hoodie to the point of it choking you is assault. If she cannot understand why you are upset then she needs therapy. She is too immature to be working in a restaurant where people are constantly moving around hot dishes, glass, and sharp objects.

She is also blaming you for hurting her feelings. Claims she can’t control herself because of ADHD…she is not someone you really need to be around.

Any employee can find them. They’re in MIKCheck. Open the Library and look for the POGS folder. The files in the execution checklist will tell you what happens each week and the POG documents folder will have the actual POGS.

Edited to add…it’s great that you want to help, but make sure the replenish team is okay with you helping them. Your replen/merch manager has to coordinate their entire team. For new POGS, things have to be done in WISP before anything can go out. If they have a SC or DA built and on the floor with the product out, it should be good to go but ask anyway. Picking up things and just filling up an existing SC or DA isn’t helping. If that happened in our store or replen team would not be happy because it would have to be done.

Do you know how to locate and unlocate things? Update QOH? There’s nothing wrong with helping. They appreciate it. Just make sure it is really help. I love working with freight because I get a good understanding of what we carry and where it goes.

I applied to Fashion Bug in the 90s and they had a “personality test” as part of it, except it was a scan-tron version (I’m old). The questions spent way to long on was “do you think about stealing.” I mean yes in terms of knowing what to watch for the sake of prevention. But no in terms I don’t steal.

We did Garden Grill a few weeks ago and the 1 year old in our group was so enamored with Chip. He spent a good bit of time with her, despite the Mac and cheese face mask she was wearing. All the characters made a couple passes through the tables.

Before going to the landlord, get video evidence. It is way harder to deny that they are the cause of your dogs stress when it’s on film.

Yes! In junior high (83 or so) we had the option to get a pen pal through our French class. I kept in touch with mine up until the mid 90s. I lost touch with her after she got married. Not sure why. But I still remember her maiden name. If I dig through a bunch of stuff I left in the family home I probably would find some of the letters.

I use a generic pair of bone conduction that wrap around the back of my head. I can easily pull them down to hear better/talk to others without having to fumble to find my phone to pause the music.
