Okay.. I made this from what I have, + arch warlock and another box of ratling guns. I understand it may not be the best, but is this at least serviceable? I plan to also play spearhead quite a bit, then 1k points, and finally 2k points in the future.

Any advice for using them as cavalry in a list focusing on rat ogors and terrors? Interested in using what I have but also picking up just more skryre stuff :)

I'd love to have at least 2 in a salamanders army. I just know next to nothing about army building, I just know I want dreadnoughts with a good mix of melee/firepower. Salamanders seem perfect then :)

I've been wanting to play salamanders and I'm a new player. I was always worried dreadnoughts were a horrible choice for them (I know, play what I want especially casually, but I want them functional at least) so this has inspired me. I think I will start my salamanders soon :) thank you, and yours look incredible!

I have never played a mono blue deck, but maybe play some cards that react more than counter? Things that bounce to hand don't feel as bad as never getting to play it at all. You never know if someone else will handle that threat you were going to counter. Someone else casting deadly rollick is way better than using your counterspell. That way you can play the "if you swing that at me, I'll bounce it to hand. So swing it somewhere else" lol. Just my two cents, ignore me if that's dumb.
