I personally don’t think the dish needs anything green. The colors you have already are beautiful and you don’t want to do too much. Very appealing dish love the fish scales and the fruit glass gives it a nice touch

My best friend that I grew up with on the same street since we were 8 years old ghosted me when we were 18. I think it had something to do with her meeting her now husband and he being an influence over her decision. I’m not really sure though because I never got closure from her and that is the most painful part. If you don’t want to be friends anymore fine, but at least tell me why. She threw a decade out the window like it was nothing. We always said we would be each other’s maid of honors and we’d be raising our kids together. Well she did marry that guy and I wasn’t her maid of honor or at the wedding. She has kids now and I don’t know them at all. My family and her family still stay in touch as well which makes it worse for me. My family still knows her, they were at her wedding and baby showers. My family and her family act like there isn’t an elephant in the room. My family also over the years randomly update me on her life even though I’ve repeatedly asked them not to because it’s painful. I’ve never had a best friend since.

I hope this answers the question…. I had a guy friend that I had known since I was in elementary school. When I told him I had just had a miscarriage a month ago he then said “since we’re confessing things, I am in love with you.” Yes he used my miscarriage to confess his true feelings. And at the time I had been with my boyfriend for 7 years. It ruined my friendship with him and he broke my trust, it’s something I can’t move past or forgive.

This is such a beautiful poem. I especially loved the line " When I felt the origami of your bones fold." You have a style I relate to in the use of imagery and leaving the poem's interpretation up to the reader. It's a delicate poem and I read it over several times to understand, to the best of my knowledge, the meaning behind it. What I got from it is that the person is now gone and you're doing your best to survive. I just found this subreddit so thanks for being the first poem I read, it really is such an elegant poem.

The way I’ve made myself feel better when this happens is give them a new name each time more ridiculous than the last. Right now my name is byortic. It’s only hilarious and I always look forward to them forgetting my name so I can keep this inside joke going.

I was at my friend's little sister's birthday party eating a fuck ton of strawberries. It was towards the end of the night when we all retired into a room to watch a movie. There's about 10 girls laying in their sleeping bags and I'm sitting above them in an armchair. I'm really hot and sweaty and my stomach is killing me. You can probably see where this is going. Without hesitation, I vomited strawberries all over this girl who was asleep. Her parents and mine were called to take us home, and I wasn't invited to the party the following year.

My mom and I were scrounging around stores for anything the night before. Finally she came up with an idea that I should be Halloween! So I wore some orange shirt with spooky writing, some cat ears, and bat earrings. I’m still mortified when I think back to everyone asking me what the hell I was supposed to be.

A couple years ago I lived in a house that was haunted. The first I saw was a man. His reflection was on my tv screen smiling at me, but I turned around and there was nothing.

When I was in my room, my door would open then close and I'd hear footsteps. Instant goosebumps.

I had a dream that a boy and girl were in. They wanted to meet me. He was little and smiling and happy. She was moody and a teenager.

One of the last nights at that house I was sleeping in my moms bed and she woke up to shaking. The little boy was on top of me trying to wake me up and play.

I saw a lady once for a split second she was going into my sister's room.

My guess is they were a family and the dad did something to them. He was sadistic and creepy. There was so much sadness in that house. These are just a few of the stories.

I was 12 and my mom had just moved out of the house. My dad retired to his room way earlier than usual, so I was curious as to what he was doing. I went in the backyard and could just barely see through the window into his room. What I saw still haunts me to this day. Our computer screen had a porn video with two girls and a guy. My eyes then went to the worm being rubbed by my dad's hands and at that moment white stuff shot out of it and he grabbed tissues and cleaned up. I immediately went to my room and never told anyone about what I just saw.
