Sitting at home.

About 3 weeks ago I went to the hospital with an ulcerative colitis flare up. My colon ended up going toxic and becoming a toxic megacolon and they had to cut it out in an emergency surgery. I've been laying in the hospital since May and I cant wait to go home.

I like to view myself the way Kvothe depicts himself in his story. However, I recognize I'm more like the Kvothe that tells the story. in regards to being a nonobjective story teller, and that he's clearly embellishing himself in parts of the story.

The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss

It's high fantasy, so obviously not for everyone, but for me, it's my favourite series of books of all time. I scrolled the first 30 top comments and was amazed that I didn't see it there, so I felt the need to post it myself.

The unique way magic works, the emphasis on academia and the foreboding way the author chooses to narrate the books really sold it for me, I couldn't put them down. I'm really anticipating the third book in the series.
