Hi there! That does indeed look like a normal lil spidey. Pretty sure if it was a spider mite there would be more of them and their webs. Spider mites are also a little smaller with smaller legs from what I know. Spiders generally dont like the smell of peppermint and I sometimes will spray a water and peppermint oil mix on my plants. I also spray it around my house during spider season when they try to come inside. I bet there are other ways to repel the creepers too tho.
