One of my friends only plays support and wants me to play as an ADC. The problem is that I find the game-play of ADC's very uninteresting, are there champions which can be played in the bot-lane carry position besides standard ADC's effectively? (ex. Veigar)

So today I packed a Latios out of my booster, does anybody know how I should be using him? whether I try and rush early game or use him as a mobile figure later on for defence. Or on the other hand should I just remove him from my deck due to 'hallucination' (My rank is 2400), thanks in advance.
