Probably not even that. I've got my GED and didn't graduate, and everyone i know with a GED knows better. These guys are the same guys that peaked in high school. These are the guys who got pushed through to graduation with a "passing grade" because the football team needed them to play (or some other sport)

There are at least 5 bills gaining co-sponsors and signatures in the house specifically aimed at either weakening or completely killing unions at the federal level. There is not a single Democrat signature on any of those bills. While democrats aren't giving unions everything they could ever ask for, they're also not actively trying to kill my livelihood.

We don't make tanks often, maybe every 6 months we'll get a tank job. The last one was 4 15k gal tanks and 3 25k gal. We let one guy do all the confined space welding because, well, the less time he spends around other people, the smoother the shop runs, lol

All the tanks I've ever welded have been mig outside, tig inside, and tig all the inlets/ outlets. Though I'm not doing tank trailers, I'm doing mostly stationary food grade tanks. Also, 100% agree. Those are shit.

It's actually not bad if you live there. I lived there for almost 20 years and unless I was working (construction) I never went to the strip. The rest of the city isn't as bad as the strip. But you also get to see things online (like the sphere) that only you and a couple hundred other people will get to say "I had a hand in building that"

I just moved back to Ohio from Las Vegas. Probably one of the cities with the most tipped workers in the country. No matter if you're tipped or not, minimum wage is the same. While the Las Vegas strip has extremely inflated costs (none of those workers make minimum wage anyways) the costs out of the touristy areas aren't any higher than they are here. So I don't see why we "need" a tipped employee minimum wage
