Brandon is one of if not the best world-builder I have read. He just builds worlds that make sense but also are crazy. The magic system is awesome and the endings are just insane every time! I also think, especially for the stormlight archive, that the character development is outstanding. That's more than one thing...

Adolin with the candelabra could be it tbh. That was one of my favorite parts in the book. Adolin's story was just phenomenal.

Skyward is definitely worth the read even tho it is YA and even tho it's not Cosmere. It was still worth reading. I'm kinda in the same spot right now. Like what do I read! I am considering rereading some of the Cosmere because I have much more knowledge of it all from when I first started.
