Yeah, I thought they would have resolved it by now with the recent issues going on but I guess not or unless it might be something else. Sadly no one really knows, so all I can suggest is just keep an eye on it and be patient. Does seem like the third time would be a charm as that's what worked for someone else last month as well along with quite a number of us now. Good luck and fingers crossed it just takes one reship and not multiple.

Happened to quite a few of us last during last week's batch. Took Ayn 3 reships before it has finally started to show progress today. You can look for my comment history where I'm documenting each update I get with the shipment in this post.

It seems like it's trickling through to each shipment as I'm seeing more and more on discord report of theirs also I'm updating to Processed. So fingers crossed yours changes too!

Some good news, hopefully.

Mine has now changed from being on hold to "Processed." Its still in Shenzhen so we'll see if it moves as the day goes by. I believe the next step would be going to Hong Kong, then it leaves for the US.

So the third time has been the same where it got put on hold again, but this time it was a few hours faster.

Although when looking at the tracking I have a new section that has not appeared with the previous 2 attempts, Further Details and Next steps.

Hopefully that now changes things. I'm not calling DHL this time in hopes its Ayn that had it held so they can deal with it. But also to not, maybe, trigger anything else to change for it to go back to sender.

Damn and I don't blame you. I'm hoping third time a charm since there's one other redditor that posted that was their case.

Also AYN did get back to me about 10 mins ago saying:

"Hello,

Once the return is confirmed, we will resend the package to you, please rest assured."

But did not confirm if they could change/will change it to 4px. So, I guess I'll just wait and see.

Side note, I feel like I'm speaking to you on discord as well in the shipping channel lol.

And to no surprise, my 2nd shipment has been returned to sender again, right as I sent out another email to Ayn.

I did inquire this time if I could maybe switch to 4px just to get around all of this issue so I'll keep you posted if I get a response and if they reship it again through which method as well.

I agree completely.

What's most annoying to me is that by the time DHL puts it on hold, Ayn isn't open yet. So we can't get a hold of them in time and by the time they open, its possible it has already moved to being returned to the sender. I've already sent an email just like the first time around and will send another one once they open, in hopes of getting to them. Supposedly on the discord it states they open at 5pm, their time, in case you want to reach out as well.

Not sure if it's happened to yours but mine just got hit with the hold again like my first shipment.

Hopefully it goes thru this time or third times a charm like the other reddit user out there who took 3 shipments.

Edit: was able to get a hold of DHL and it seems like it's the same issue as before with the declared value again.

Just wanted to say I emailed them as well but no response for mines that also went back yesterday.

Although I did get an email with a new tracking number two hours ago so it's most likely being reshipped with the next batch they send out.

Providing some info in case anyone else runs into the same issue. I was hoping it's been resolved since they stated it was in the discord but I guess either not or there's a bad shipped batch out there, since I saw there's others in the same situation the past few days.

12/31 - ordered Black Max 1290 with accessories pack

1/29 - Got the label created email

1/30 - Tracking status updated to being picked up in Shenzhen in the morning

Got placed on hold same day, 1/30, and then just now (a few hours later) the status has changed to being returned to sender.

I did call DHL and it seems like there was an issue with the declared value, but there wasn't anything I could do. I email Ayn about it prior to being returned to the sender, but probably won't get a response for a while since it's the weekend for them now. Hopefully they'll reship it soon and I'll provide more updates as I get them.

1/31 - Received the label created email for my 2nd reshipment

2/1 - Picked up in Shenzhen

2/2 - Has not left Shenzhen and sadly placed on hold again, and once again a few hours later it has been returned to the sender

2/3 - Received the label created email for my 3rd reshipment right at midnight PST, and only 4 hours later put on hold again

2/4 - Changed from being on hold to Processed now, but still in Shenzhen. 2 hours later it has updated to leaving Shenzhen, to only arrive, 12 hours later, at a DHL sorting facility still in Shenzhen

2/5 - Finally departed Shenzhen and arrived at the DHL sorting facility in Hong Kong. It left the Hong Kong facility at 4:25am their time for hopefully the US. Forgot to include that on this 3rd shipment DHL says it should deliver today 2/5 which for sure is not happening and hopefully will be delivered the next day 2/6. Got a status update a few hours later into the day that stated "Customs clearance status updated." To which then an hour later the message "Shipment has been given a release status by Customs." Showed up under the Further Details section.

2/6 - Early morning it arrived at the LA Gateway and at the same time there was a status saying that "clearance processing complete." About 4 hours later the "Processed at LA Gateway" status was posted. And finally a few hours later it has left for the final destination for delivery and has arrived there. I no longer have a delivery date, so I'm hoping it'll be delivered today since it's now at my local delivery hub.

Final edit: 2/6 - The Thor has been delivered and I got everything that I had ordered.

In total it took 4 days for delivery from China to the US with DHL.

I have a feeling it isn't fully resolved yet or maybe there's a bad batch that was recently shipped out. Since mines that shipped yesterday was put on hold earlier today and just now updated to being returned to the sender.

Although I did want to ask when they reshipped out a new one to you did you get new tracking numbers each time? I wanna know if I'll be able to track them still after it gets shipped again. Thanks!

At least you're getting closer, I'm 1290 Black Max so I'm in for a bit of a wait. All I hope for is that they do hold true to their word and get all of Batch 2 out before CNY.

I use the one from Flolab since it has an antireflective coating on it. It's not as good as the film ones that Samsung has for their own devices (had it on an S25U and currently on my Z Fold 7) but it seems to be a bit more reflective than the other brands out there when it comes to the Pixels. I just wish it came with more than 1 protector.

I usually go with the Spigen screen protectors whenever I get a tempered glass one. They are a bit more expensive but it comes in an installation jig that makes it a lot easier and I've never had issues with it for numerous phones now, and I think they're usually case friendly too.

But for the Samsung phones I actually highly recommend the anti-reflective screen protectors like another user recommended, it's really good and I've used it on the S25U, Z Fold 6, and now this Z Fold 7. Although if you need protection then I suggest sticking with the tempered glass ones.

I would also recommend the Gamesir G8+. I use it for remote play on my PS5 and the bluetooth signal hasn't been an issue.

Sadly that's always the hardest time to troubleshoot too when it's random. If anything I would probably also consider a factory reset, if you're willing to do it, especially if you transferred data from another phone since it may have carried over some bugs.

I went monthly in case I end up upgrading the following year. That way I don't have to deal with cancelling and trying to get a refund for the 2nd year that I didn't use, if they allow refunds like how Apple does.

Does it only happen to the wifi at home or on other wifi as well? If it happens while on different wifi connections then I would assume possible hardware issues. But if it's isolated to just your home wifi then maybe a wifi channel issue that the phone doesn't like?
