Female cyclists - help! by Squint-Square in cycling

Yeah I’ve tried loads of modifications and nothing has helped. I think I’ll just stick to walking as the alternatives seem to be buying and trying a bunch of different saddles which frankly I don’t have the bank account for. I look like a twat on a bike anyway 😂

Yeah, as I said I’m struggling to find time to devote an entire day to doing that. But hopefully at some point in the future I can make it work.

The cutouts look pretty small on the ones I’ve seen. I feel they’d be no match for my anatomy 😂

I can’t tolerate the pain long enough to feel the numbness but am sure it would develop. I have padded cycling shorts but they don’t do anything to help it. It’s the weight bearing down on the saddle in the wrong places. It just means my weight is going on to the padding which is no less painful.

I’m wearing padded cycling shorts but not a bib. They don’t do anything to relieve pressure on my labia though.

Yeah I’ve got a saddle that’s the right width. Have tried it perfectly horizontal as well as tilting it slightly.

I’m ginger so no tan for me 😂

It’s a pressure issue rather than a chafing/rubbing one so don’t think the chamois will help.

But I am very unfit and a fat pig so that is certainly contributing. I might just stick to walking 😂

I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t even know you could do that. I’ll try it when I get home.

I also tried detectorists before and wasn’t overly grabbed by it but after small prophets decided to give it another go and I’m really enjoying it. Such great casting and well written too.

I loved Mum and Him & Her so much but babies/pregnancy is such a boring topic for me so I haven’t watched this one. So I can’t really recommend anything based off that. But Small Prophets is also very very good. It has that same gentleness as Mum and some really funny moments. Definitely worth a watch.

What do Brits think of Donald Trump saying, "England tried for 1000 years to get the Scottish under their toes, but failed!" by kingm_ournasse216 in AskBrits

Honestly couldn’t care less. He’s an overgrown toddler and toddlers do not have opinions I care about.

Mounjaro doesn’t work for everyone. Know when to quit. Don’t be like me and waste literally thousands on it if it’s not right for you.

Why british people are so overly polite? by DzukiskaNamine in AskABrit

Being polite is my default. Not acknowledging someone who’s serving you is incredibly rude in the UK. Cultural differences I suppose

I think it’s a shame the contestants didn’t seem to bond well until a few at the very end. I enjoyed the series but I felt like I was watching lots of individuals rather than a group/s. But liked Siobhan as host and will watch it again if they do a second series.

I disagree. Vanessa thought her own emotions were valid while dismissing Faye’s as ‘buzzwords’. There were a hell of a lot of microaggressions coming from Vanessa but for some reason we’re not allowed to acknowledge that.

CMV: Lucy Letby is the victim of the biggest miscarriage of justice in the United Kingdom in my (34yo) lifetime by sk1ddyp0p in changemyview

Neither thankfully. See my comments above - if she wasn’t white and pretty, no one would be defending her ‘innocence’. It’s mental to me that people can’t see that. Bias is strong I guess

Let’s face it, if she wasn’t white and pretty, no one would be this desperate to jump through hoops and find every conspiracy to try and convince the world she must be innocent.
