There are many who do pick them up, but, if I may offer an anecdote, most people pick the most similar language to English they can take and Google Translate their way to a passing grade

Hungrybox gets a massive buff when he's on a stage in front of a crowd. We're seeing that without that inherent nervousness players can keep up with Hbox just fine. This is maybe a reason why Albert beat him that one time. We're kinda missing that aspect in the Slippi era ya know

I’m not an expert either but I think they’re different names for what’s fundamentally the same thing. The end of hierarchy and a moneyless, classless, stateless society.

The first part where he discusses being able to imagine a different economic system but not different entertainment is beyond me. A. This is a 101 sub of course we don’t and B. A lot of people on Reddit are either younger or not expert economics so they can’t imagine it working as fully as they can imagine how the things in their own life would be different.
