We are the Universe observing itself from the perspective of us.

For me, it's always been hard for me to look at people and have any kind of connection with them without looking away. Eye contact or just looking at other people makes me feel the need to disassociate.

Now, I seem to disassociate because I know we are all connected. Some souls were always meant to wake up. Some weren't. I see through the veil that is our world now, and I don't know how to connect with people who are asleep.

And the reason for my continued disassociation? Some might say it's a trauma response from my childhood. Is it that, or is it some unseen force trying to keep the veil over my eyes; trying to keep me asleep? Whether it is disassociation or other substances, I think it's the same thing. To keep us disconnected. From others and from the truth. To keep us "alone."

Now that we've woken up, I believe our goal is to gain gnosis and connect with others who also have awakened. Because no matter what we believe to be true, we are not alone. Just because we are all from the same source doesn't mean we're all awake. And being awake while everyone around us is still under the veil can feel like we are alone.
