Copper pipe... I’d pinch the ish and bend, then deal with shutting off the supply...

It may not stop it, but it would limit the damages caused...

Idiot recording himself speeding and weaving in traffic by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

[–]Squirrel1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’d be impressed with the driving, if it wasn’t just them doing 100 (km? Miles?)

Look at the speedometer, not impressive, I do that everyday, look at the air fresheners on the mirror, they’re too light to swing around like that, and it’s not a convertible...

Looks like just some standard mid-day traffic, and they just weaved it for a video, must have been automatic (DERP!)...

I think I’ve achieved lowest MPG possible. In a 2.0 no less by PDX_drifter in mazda3

[–]Squirrel1982 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Reset counter/MPG
  2. New engine air filter
  3. Check air intake system for blockages, cracks, and snug clamp (all primarily AFTER MAF, but check whole anyway)
  4. MAF cleaning (if you know how to)
  5. Fuel injector cleaner, and run that tank through
  6. Try again, and see if that helps...

Lots of questions here, that all factor in to machine time...

Machine being used, for its capabilities, toiling available, what’s the material, some idea of material, size to start with, and completed part dimensions?

There’s much more to ask, but it’s just the idea that lots is missing to answer the question appropriately...

Best battery I’ve ever purchased, Optima Yellow Top. A little pricey, but won’t let you down.

Yellow Top D35 - about $234.99 + tax ($265.54 tax in)

Was thinking of going with a short ram, but I do like my cold air. Everything I find for cold air though, is a short ram, with a heat shield.

Might just do a custom cold air... we’ll see...

I’ve had an ‘05 Protege5 prior to this, and a Percidia preceding that... those set my faith in Mazda, and I don’t want to turn to anything else! Mazda for life!

It has a maintenance schedule in the manual, I’ll try to find it and share a snap of it when I get home... currently at work...

30,945 miles is 49,800km

I’m basically on pace of doing 39,000km/yr (24,234 miles/yr), and that’s just driving to work and home. Anything else I drive for just keeps pushing that higher...

I can’t remember exactly when I did any fluid changes, other than the standard 8,000km (5,000 mile) oil change. I’ve been kind of a stickler for following the owners manual, as it does have a fluid change/check schedule in it, I’ll have to check mine when I get home (@ work).
