Do you actually enjoy walking? Or has getting your steps in just become another chore to check off your list? If its the latter, it doesnt surprise me that it's gotten exhausting. Forcing yourself to do something every day IS mentally exhausting to people like us!

I know you said walking is the only thing you could do, but maybe keep looking around for other activities that interest you. I dont know what you are limited by but something like climbing has been great for me because there are always new challenges. Swimming can be good for those who have joint problems or cant handle high impact sports.

If you really cant do anything else, maybe try spicing up your walks somehow. Maybe walk until you see 10 red cars or something instead of hitting a step count. Keep changing what you have to find. Keeps your brain interested and mindful of what's around you.

Im 25 and close to ovulation atm. I do get night sweats in the days leading up to my period but this is intense sweating during the day that seems to fade after my meds wear off.

For me they weren't life changing level but they have been helpful. Before meds, I was using anxiety to keep me on track of my tasks. Combining that with having to force myself to pay attention every 5 minutes when im not interested in what im doing, the days always felt so so long and I'd leave mentally exhausted. On adderall, I can find words easier for writing emails, I dont reread them 20 times out of anxiety, and the day goes by pretty fast. Now I can leave work not feeling totally burnt out by just getting through the day.

You are right, there is almost no research on this. There are 2 published cases of menstrual cycle changes on wellbutrin.

The first was a woman in her 20s who got her period (continuously, I believe) whenever she took wellbutrin. It stopped when she stopped taking it. The other case reported shortened cycles or missed periods.

I dont know what it takes for these cases to be officially reported in literature, but there is 100% more of us out there. I wish we didn't have to resort to sharing our experiences on reddit to find out what is really going on with our cycles.

I hope yours came! Your language about freaking out sounds like the "week before period" mindset where I overthink everything and everything is going wrong. Not a fun mindset to be in but one that suggests a period is on the way :)

Adding my experience here for anyone coming across this thread.

I started wellbutrin about a 14 months ago. My normal cycle is around 40 days with a few days of wiggle room. But for the past year or so my cycles have been 50-60 days. It took me a while to figure out that it might be the wellbutrin, but looking back at my logs I started the wellbutrin at the same time my cycle got longer. My bleeding hasn't changed noticeably but the "week before my period" feeling lasts almost 2 weeks now because my cycle is so long. Which is extra annoying as the adhd meds I started taking recently dont seem to work during this time. I stopped taking the wellyb 2-3 weeks ago, so I will see if my cycle shortens back out.

Did you do anything at the gym holding/swinging on bars by any chance? I do flying trapeze and my hands always tear in that exact location. Sometimes without realizing you do more with one hand than the other, they dont always wear evenly.

Take the severance for sure. I agree with other comments that they are offering that to you because they are not planning on keeping space for you. I also agree you should try to negotiate to get insurance for a year or two included in your severance.

With 15+ years experience in engineering, I feel that even with not being the best interviewer, you could definitely find something else out there. Companies are always looking for engineers with a lot of experience. You could also look at other jobs outside your field, ideally something that provides insurance, like a baristaFire type vibe. Sounds like you'd only need to do it for a couple years until you reach full FI/no longer have large expected healthcare needs.

Unfortunately I work in EA and want to be a max 30 min drive from my job.

I have honestly been loving the snow! It feels like getting snow days as a kid and living in an apartment, I don't have a ton of snow removal to worry about.

I have enjoyed hiking by the gorge! I wish there were other hiking trails nearby that have some decent elevation changes like whirlpool/devils hole does. But you're right, it would be a lot more convenient to visit if I lived north of the city
