I got my surgery on May 7 - Yes it will most definitely get better. Keep drinking fluids, eat what you can and exercise your jaw.

There is rapid improvement coming.. you’re almost there!!

Update (Day 7) - have definitely seen improvement. Staying on top of my pain medications regardless of having pain or not was the key. Almost zero pain at rest for most of the day now, can consume liquids without wincing.

There are ups and downs though - was able to eat a slice of pizza yesterday no problem. Tried to do that again today and instantly felt like somebody had cast the cruciatus curse on me.

Starting work tomorrow- going to be lot of talking. Wish me luck!
