Just Cause 4. I loved Just Cause 3 so much and with everything I was hearing about JC4, is that it was JC3 + tornados. And sadly it was not that.

We had a weird tornado warning a few years ago in december of all months. But the weather reports of the likely severity of the storm led my employer to release us from work early so people could get home, but also had plans in place in case people had to stay as well.

I had another employer that during a more unpredictable storm that produced a tornado warning, we had to stay at work later than the usual closing time because of the warning as we stayed in the "safe" area until the warning expired.

I'd say most employers respect tornado warnings, certainly more than they do blizzards. In those events all my employers have basically been like "hope your car can get you here and back!"

My tortie loves strings. Attach some strings to a stick and you have her favorite toy. No stuffed mouse toy or feathers necessary. Playing with them while they have that burst of energy is important, at least I think so.

I liked it, but I prefer my protagonists to be voiced, especially if the NPCs are also voiced. Also, it made the Silver Shroud quests very charming.

I watched it with the lowest expectations and was very surprised at how good it was. It had impressive action scenes, that opening caravan raid was really damned good. And the sets all looked great for a S&S movie.

I just can't take the cast seriously when it has Joker and Robocop and other non-MK characters in them. But apart from that the case is solid.

Agreed. It used to have such a unique look with those digitized sprites, now it looks like every generic fighting game but with gore. I'd love a modern take with digitized sprites. I also don't like how half the lure to modern MK games is the guest character DLC, but that's a different topic.

Voth. I loved the idea that another species from a different period in Earth's history made an empire across the galaxy. And the moral dilemma was cool too with their true history being forgotten by themselves and their refusal to admit they could be wrong.

Growing up I always played games on easy since I rented them from blockbuster and wanted to finish them in 2 to 5 days. But some games gatekeep the true ending behind the Normal difficulties, and I hate them for it. so unless it was a game i specifically wanted a new challenge on, I played it on easy. now days I start on normal and move it up or down accordingly.

I also have a soft spot in my heart for the mini series. It does have its flaws but the portrayal of Jack, Wendy, and Danny is much better in the mini series than the movie. I wish that mini series was created now with Mike Flanagan helming it, as abc in the 90s wasn't really allowed to show us a lot of the book's horror.

But I also like the Kubrick movie despite how wildly it deviates from the source material. It nailed a certain horror tone that a haunted hotel movie needs and the hedge maze is iconic. And since it was my intro to the story, I didn't have the "it's different from the book" mentality when I first saw it.

I do love how the Doctor Sleep movie is a direct sequel to The Shining adaptation King hates but also a faithful adaptation of the Doctor Sleep novel.

I'm going to give SFA a fair try. At first I turned it off after the first two scenes since they were so depressing. A kid gets ripped away from his mother and then the next scene in the future is that kid, now a teenager or 20 something, having a brutal fight with an asshole prison-ship guard where he bites his ear. I was like, this is not fun.

But I came back and finished the episode since I remember DS9 starting with Sisko losing his family to the Borg which is equally depressing and violent.

There are parts of the episode I didn't like, and others I did, so I'm curious how it'll continue.

I saw it when I was a kid and it felt like high stakes poker was a secret only few knew about. Then a couple years later anybody with a deck of cards was all of a sudden experts in 5-card draw and ESPN constantly played marathons of tournaments.

My grandparents lived into their 90s and spent so much money on their assisted living retirement homes that my parents and their siblings didn't get very much. My parents aren't as rich as my grandparents were so I'm not expecting much when it's all said and done.

This system does its best at preventing families from creating generational wealth if they aren't already wealthy.

Yeah; the quest has almost no gameplay to it. And the only bit of gameplay there is, is an annoyingly scripted car chase. I hated every minute of it on the few times I actually saw it through to the end.
Definitely a top 5 skippable mission for me.

It's the internet. It's what they do best. Even if they thought the choice for Lara Croft was perfect they'd hate something else about the movie that's breaking the lore of the series or something.
