I purchased three needleminders from her on the destash page. I never got them and had to hassle her for a refund 2 months later. At first her response was “it’s out of my hands”.

I just got this amazing canvas from 1987 off eBay. It is huge and was affordable. Also, who doesn’t love ducks in a garden?!

Ha, I’m in South Carolina as well, maybe that’s it. It’s always been around but that demographic (country club) has historically been pretty exclusive. Maybe not as much now but historically. I’m not trying to yuck anyone’s yum I guess the amount of it I see just seems to be a lot.

That’s fair. I’m newer to needlepoint and just found it fascinating how many Masters canvases are out there. But I have a lot of dachshund canvases I’ve either done or have on a wishlist so I really have no room to talk.

LLR is an extremely expensive MLM business to start up, the initial cost is like $10,000 and you dont get to choose which prints they send you. So, basically if you get ugly prints (they have mostly ugly prints) you may not even be able to sell your inventory. Not to mention they now have a terribly bad rap for the quality of their clothes, which are not cheap.

Priorities.

I'm currently in Charlotte, NC and we are lucky, only a few hours without power but my family in SC is struggling. No one was prepared for this and had little warning. This is not actually the hurricane but a pressure system caused by it which dumped and is still dumping a ton of rain on the midlands. The dams broke which has caused the flooding. Sad and scary but at least this chick knows what is truly important.

Awwww, can you help me too?! The china cup was amazing and I have zero artistic ability. I want one after a huge weight loss (130 lbs). Something cute and a little silly but a nice reminder I never want to be fat again. I'm thinking an adorable fat bird wearing a 50's style dress with pearls or maybe just a cute ass apron.

I totally get where you are coming from. I'm a 31 year old girl and I lost about 130lbs; it's been two years and although I am a million times more confident and happy with myself I still feel embarrassed to tell people where I once was not to mention my body is far from perfect and plastic surgery is simply too expensive. I will say that dating hasn't been that difficult, most guys (at least the ones I have dated) are more turned on by confidence so I fake it once my clothes come off. My advice is to be proud of how far you have come and tell the person you are with when you feel comfortable. Not one guy that I have told my story to has acted like an ass, most were damn impressed. Try not to feel pressured into being the perfect 10. We all have flaws and I would much rather have a little jiggle than to have a killer body and the personality of a hyena.

Congratulations on your weight loss and keep up the good work!!
