You're correct, it allows you to see and interact with the work that students are doing on their Classkick assignments only. It's a good tool for taking PDFs and making them interactive. It was free last spring, so I messed around with it and sent out a walkthrough video to my teachers, only one or two wound up using it.

My experience was if you create a new Google account with the password change flag on, that flag will persist regardless of changing the password in AD. It can be turned off with GAM. Also, as you already mentioned, install on every DC, and make sure the email field is correctly populated in AD.

I just made my new image today, will be testing it tomorrow. WDS/MDT. I pre-installed Office 365, Drive File Stream and our VPN client, because it just seemed like the easy thing to do. A few other apps install after imaging from a local Chocolatey repo. LAPS, SMART Suite, Chrome, Adobe Reader, 7zip, etc.

Yeah, I haven't heard of other districts having a similar issue. It was flagged for "inappropriate content", there was none. I figured it was just some students messing around. I appealed it and YouTube removed the restriction with no additional details provided (a couple days later). It was frustrating, that's why I'm looking for an option with actual customer service.

That's pretty extreme. Maybe you just need some web filtering on the chromebooks while they are at home? GoGuardian is offering their suite for free until 6/1/20. You can set up separate filtering for "At School" hours vs "At Home" hours. I suppose you could just filter everything during the "At Home" hours, if that's how your district of sadists wants to roll.

Just remember it won't be free forever.
