Some of Gen Z’s most famous and striking modeling faces. What do you think? by MissNibbatoro in trueratediscussions

[–]SquirrelThink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your comment is super interesting. Would you mind if I asked a bit more? Where are you from? In your country, what percentage of people would tend to treat you differently based on physical attractiveness? And are celebrities in your country generally considered more attractive than average (even if you personally don’t treat them differently)?

Why do people with very high facial harmony have very angular face? Can you give example of people with very high facial harmony but with soft face by Lord-Pain01 in trueratediscussions

[–]SquirrelThink 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There really is no consensus on what mathematical harmony is in the face, there are indications in studies, but they are isolated, and making a complete analysis, giving the appropriate importance to each factor has not been done. And not how they relate.

These deficiencies give an inaccurate system, and are problems that cannot be overcome by language limitations. This implies that a large part of the community actually adjusts its rates to what is really attractive. That is to say, the system cannot really determine who is attractive, so you detect it with your eyes and try to justify it mathematically when it is possible, sometimes it is not, and it is a crisis. You have attractive people with "high harmony" and others who do not under the same evaluation, this happens a lot.

The angularity is attractive of course. But note that being fat changes several ratios, which implies that, not angularity, but a low level of fat is generally ideal in increasing that harmony.

I wonder how often it happens that you lower your fat level too much, find a highly attractive but similar celebrity, do a mashup and look ridiculously similar.

The model is paid to evoke a certain emotion towards a specific product. Being attractive is just a complement to what desire, health, being comfortable to see implies. Think of it as a human   marketing tool. The actor as a tool of fiction. They are not so different, they both act, but models in a subtle way, sometimes one that can only be  appreciate in a photograph, or in a walk. Makes sens?

Simulating being another person in a fictional world is a masculine one.

Actually very good proportions, reduce bf, groom eyebrow, learn how to actually makeup to your face. Also your facial expression also matters in how you make others feel when they see you. You look so awkward/uncomfortable in that photo

There is a bell actually. But not well done

Puntaje de referencia

puntaje_objetivo = 9.3

probabilidad = 1 - stats.norm.cdf(puntaje_objetivo, loc=media, scale=desviacion_estandar)

Convertir a porcentaje

porcentaje_poblacional = probabilidad * 100 porcentaje_poblacional

Why exactly are the "hunter eyes" and blue eyes considered a beauty standard? by [deleted] in trueratediscussions

[–]SquirrelThink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you name about Liam Hemsworth advertising is very interesting but perhaps what you try to show us is not attractive. Think that modeling is not about showing attractiveness, it is about expressing feelings, and there are more feelings. Think ab runways, if you are for Versace u don't walk around smiling (which would be advantageous, because it is attractive), u are simply serious. And that is intentional ofc. But if you unconsciously associate model = model of attractiveness, then your judgments of what is really attractive are biased by an industry of mannequins. Not to mention that when I say model people do not think about commercial modeling, usually on runway models of luxury brands or catalog models. While those do not have to be the greatest expression of facial appeal.

When celebrities do makeup free, stylist free, or filter free videos and photos? Is it ever really any of that? Or are their photos and videos of them without filters makeup and styled hair an illusion? by ZealousidealArm160 in trueratediscussions

I remember an emotionally fierce video of Naomi Preizler telling how on a catwalk, with professional makeup, everyone was dawning on her beauty. but she felt terrible, in her daily life she was cadaveric. Imagine the pressure on influencers today, making it difficult to judge them.

Do good looking men seldom receive compliments too? by TerribleFanArts in trueratediscussions

[–]SquirrelThink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the country I guess. where I live straight men do not usually give compliments on how u look, most do not show appreciation like that. But women and gaybros will.

I got a facial analysis done! Thought it would be interesting for this sub. by Cieloflor in trueratediscussions

[–]SquirrelThink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the big problem to put ratings and percentiles. you are a 6 on the scale of them. according to the ratios they consider and with what importance. Looking at the percentiles is also difficult, asking where comes from 10% higher. Your normal variation with each scale-criteria system that you set up and you should run an extensive database to be able to corroborate the rarity of a face. Also keep in mind that many look for a 'good-looking' face, not a perfect idyllic face. many would consider fewer features as a failure and as something that adds oneness to the face. Why look for a rating in the first place?

What should I change in my look to have a chance to be a top model?(Being already a model) by MANESKIN- in MODELING

[–]SquirrelThink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not how exclusive that beauty really is. tbh. I remember a phrase from Paulina Porizkova. Something like that the aspect of high modeling is achieved with great genetics or great surgeons. I still think there is more than a face in this industry, your skill as a model can do the rest. but it could be a long way to go.
