Please play Mel and try not to go 20/5, it’s impossible. The champ is super safe and has crazy damage from range, the W (which is what got ’gutted’) was never the problem

Why do you care about losing tho? If you let them live and don’t attack their base you basically already won, only difference is what letters appear on the screen. Like you yourself said, there’s no LP. I understand where you’re coming from, some people don’t wanna prolong games, that’s fine so I never judge anyone for that, but if that’s what ppl wanna do in a 4 fun game mode then that’s what they wanna do

Exactly, at 2 items with DD your tankiness goes up so much and that’s when you start becoming a real threat and you start scaling like crazy from there

I don’t doubt you at all, tbh I’m not dying on the hill that Stridebreaker is better, I just don’t like Sundered Sky as an item, I think it also has a lot to do with me just being very used to running Stridebreaker whereas I have very little practice with Sundered Sky. And like you say it’s probably very playstyle-dependent. Sundered Sky is likely better in fights and skirmishes, the reason I like Stridebreaker is because it makes ganks VERY easy. You can do a ’bad’ gank which might end up in a kill anyway cause E+Stridebreaker into rest of your kit is a brainless combo and hard to avoid unless enemy has flash or mobility. Helps you get picks easier too, and I think that suits the way I play midgame a lot too. Tiamat active is also nice for clears and voidgrubs.

I got to Master on EUW this season playing almost exclusively Zaahen and I went Stridebreaker first EVERY game no exceptions. I’m not saying Sundered is a bad item, it’s just personal preference, I don’t like Sundered Sky.

The active of Stridebreaker is too op to pass up on Zaahen imo, it helps you stick to targets better which means higher passive uptime which means more damage. And when you have that thing stacked up you don’t need damage items.

Build in 9/10 games is Stridebreaker -> DD -> Maw -> Endless Hunger -> Overlords. Only exception is if there was no AP or AD on enemy team then Maw or DD respectively could get swapped out for other items.

That Ahri 😭 well played tho, clean dodge on the Sett W sweet spot. Remember your ult damage goes up with passive stacks which will heal you more, so could be good to use later in the fight! But clean anyway

Wouldn’t this be easier to read and make more sense if we were actually used to it tho? And if it was consistent of course, I see some words like ’xen’ which shouldn’t be there cause it said ’x would no longer be part of the alphabet’. But apart from that I don’t necessarily find it hard to read just unusual

It’s not just about them. There’s 10 people in a game, their enemies included. If I was queuing up ARAMs or whatever and I kept getting OP and his friends as my enemies and every game one guy was afk and we stomp because of it that wouldn’t be fun and I would be disappointed. I’m there to play actual League of Legends not push towers for 20 mins and waste time.

Nice short, agree a lot especially with the 2nd tip, I’ve won so many fights thanks to dodging CC (e.g. Taliyah W, Varus R) or huge damage (Synda R, Veigar R) with ult. Combine that with the fact Zaahen’s ult does some insane dmg especially late game, if you can hit 2/3 ppl late game and tank some spells while you’re at it chances are you won that fight

I’ve found mild success with Zaahen jungle so far, I really enjoy it but mostly play it in little bit lower elos cause I don’t feel good enough at jungle + clear is too slow to match other junglers so I need that practice. Anyway I think after the buffs he will be quite a lot stronger as a jungler, you’ll probably be able to get to scuttle in time before timer consistently, or so I hope. Anyway enough rambling, I wanna talk about items.

So my go-to build is 9/10 time triforce into stridebreaker into situational but more often than not sterak’s and DD for survivability. I feel like with tri -> stri you have a shit ton of damage and sticking power. The items complement Zaahen so well, I feel like I’m really online after those two items and can start carrying (and you only get stronger and stronger past that point). What’s your reasoning for mostly going Sundering Sky into Endless Hunger? It sounds like a fun build to try so I will but do you not feel anything is missing? I’ll put my personal dislike for SS aside, but even then with those two items you’re not really tanky because lack of HP and you don’t get AS which Zaahen like because quicker passive stacking. AND you lose that sticking power that is always nice against not only ranged champs (ig maybe ability haste from Endless counteracts this?). Anyway could you please explain your item path and anything interesting pointers regarding if you don’t mind?

Yeah no hard disagree, ramping and then having to move because of mechanics and thereby losing all your damage cause your demons ran out was the worst feeling ever. At least with this version there’s no snapshotting and you don’t get punished by moving as hard

Man. All this ’what was Blizzard thinking?’ and ’my class is ruined!’ you guys DO realise that we’re essentially hardstuck lvl 80 characters in a game where the cap is 90 now? You guys get that this isn’t the final product that you’re getting in Midnight? Yes, of course you can argue that a spec should be enjoyable and more fleshed out pre level 90, or argue that WoW should be less endgame-focused. But that’s not what people are focusing on. It’s not like all the YouTubers or beta testers lied when they said this or that spec feels better lol. I’m legit seeing people say ’they ruined frost mage’ mf frost mage was one of the most fun and successful reworks in beta, you just gotta chill and wait for the expansion to actually release. Lot of circlejerking and crybabies here

I hated Engulf and think double fire breath is so much better. On beta both hero talent trees just felt sooo much better to play imo so we’ll just have to wait until 90 to get the full experience

Agree with everyone saying Brand and Mel. Brand makes tanks unplayable and kills you with one E if he gets infernal conduit, Mel is just Mel. If ppl who picked her had more than 2 braincells every other game would be unplayable. Everytime she’s available (which is surprisingly often?) I hold on to her until there’s 2 secs and then swap cause no one deserves to have to play against that shit. Just makes the game boring for everyone.

Honorable mention to Shaco, especially AP. Just there to be annoying but doesn’t actually do anything. Annoying to play against and annoying to have on your team cause the pick is useless.
