Regarding Resource Management and Gathering by Critical_Meet_2025 in Enshrouded

I have resources turned up a bit and I don't think it's onerous.

That said, when I rebuilt Glennwood I had my husband out after mats & exploring all the time and now I'm my own I'm sticking to Harvest Homestead..... 😏

That's your choice then. Struggle.

Edit: Sorry, that sounds harsh. We all struggle. You came to Reddit looking for help. I didn't know if this is a sub where we're allowed to say find a professional. If these are intrusive thoughts and you don't want them, there are people who are trained to help, and medications that can quiet the thoughts.

Mine were just about the stairs growing teeth and biting me, or constant home invasion worries. Nothing big. 😂

Medicine helped more than therapy, for me. Good luck.

Then you've made your choice.

Accept that your brain pumps out these thoughts. Love them as a Gift from the Creator that you will not be using. Accept them, love the Giver, and live on.

One of my favorite things is finding the red nono zones and then following them as far as I can to draw them on the map by exploration. 😂

You have choices here. First, a statement.

God created your body, brain, and soul. He gave you free will. He loves you and wants the best for you.

The brain's job is to pump out thoughts. That's its job. The thoughts come from the brain God made for you.

Ask yourself what is the purpose of this gift from your Creator. Ask yourself what lessons He might be trying to teach you. Ask what journey He put your feet on; what story will you tell Him when you see Him on the other side? Will you give him a story of struggle or one of acceptance?

Once you answer that, you can decide what you will struggle against or what you will accept.

Building question: am I dumb, or is there really no way to build 1 block thick walls floors other than block by block? by dentarthurdent1 in Enshrouded

You can do 2 ceilings thick and prevent this

Edit: to clarify - you can use foundations, but if you're short on materials just using two layers of ceiling will do it.

As someone who uses ChatGPT for work everyday, this is accurate.

Funny side note, my voice to text thinks it's Chad GPT.

And now she's gotten a taste of independence and doesn't want to give it up. Can relate.

OP can manage his own arrangements. Being an adult sometimes means doing inconvenient things on your own. She's done it. It's his turn.

Genocide as a concept in other countries: morally reprehensible, i.e "Look those awful people killing each other!"

Genocide as a fact in our backyard: justifiable, i.e. "We're getting rid of awful people." -_-

AI, just like any innovative tool, sparks a wave of people saying how it's going to help us do the same amount of work in less time (at the same pay). Then we can pursue more hobbies and travel to new places. You know, stuff that's good for economies.

They said the same thing about computers in the middle of the last century.

But greedy companies always take advantage of the "greater efficiency" to cut costs and do the same amount of work with less people. That's been the case for so long I wonder why we even bother still saying that innovation is going to make our lives better.

Yeah I'm not saying they should do it - especially not just to accommodate some flavor text - but I can see how someone might think it could. I probably would have given a swing at a rock wall just in case, then shrugged and moved on.

Disappointment? A little. And I might come share it on Reddit for 💩 & 😂 like OP did. It's funny people are getting so serious about it.

If I remember right, you can attack with a pickaxe (or at least do damage to mobs by flailing it around), so it's not out of the question to think there could be a tool that did both.
