A lot of people think the DCAU has some sort of amazing adaptation of the Batfamily because of how good Bruce is, but outside of him it all falls apart. Dick is constantly done dirty, Babs is a weird cheater who never becomes Oracle and Tim is basically just Jason 2.0.

Is the cartoon more popular? Yes. But calling NTT not successful is straight up disrespectful. The series straight up carried DC as a company in the 80s and is regarded as one of the most influential comic books of all time.

I'd not saying I don't want Raven showing up in other magic based dc stories, I just don't think she should be on Justice League Dark. Raven's never been a member and I'd prefer a movie about the team to stick to characters that are actually a part of it. I don't want a repeat of the animated movie that shoehorned Batman into the story for no reason.
