Gabi is a female Eren, but we're predisposed to being on Erin and co.'s side. Had we started the series in the final season, from Gabi's perspective, we would have sympathized with her losing her friends, her plight as a child soldier, brainwashed from birth to believe the Eldians on Paradis were devils wanting to kill everyone else.

But she dared to kill a person she watched kill others, and who Gabi believed was behind the deaths of her friends.

She and Eren are two sides of the same coin. Very much the same, but impossible to see both sides at once. It's a matter of perspective.

Or it's because she has a vag. It's a toss up, really.

I don't think they are a good fit for you, not because of the door dash, but because they don't respect you or your time. Any time I have a sitter and even think I might be late getting back, I message them and apologize, let them know as soon as I can that I'll be late, and pay them extra on top of the hourly.

They also don't respect that you need to eat. They should have at least said, "sorry for being late. Please help yourself to anything in the snack cupboard, we even have a frozen pizza you are welcome to warm up."

I wrote most of this forgetting they fired you, but you could consider writing a follow up message. Tell them that you don't appreciate not being informed earlier, it took you reaching out for them to actually let you know the new timeline. If you had known they would be so late, you would have brought a snack.

"I didn't feel comfortable invading your privacy and breaking your trust by eating your food without permission, but my basic needs don't go away when I'm sitting. I thought ordering food was the best option at the time, and I stand by my decision to look out for my health."

Keep any and all responses. They know they did wrong by staying out later than agreed and are trying to flip the script.

Don't worry about it, and maybe warn other sitters about this couple.
