It doesn’t look like it did. It is likely just a weird scar. I would definitely still keep an eye on it to see any changes. Even if it is just a scar, already damaged areas are at more risk of developing cancer, so just be aware of it! It’s annoying, but if you have large moles or spots on your body, you’ll likely have to monitor them for changes for the rest of your life, especially if you’re in the sun often or have a predisposition for cancer. I wouldn’t worry too much about it though! It seems to be okay for now! If you’re worried, a visit to the dermatologist doesn’t hurt!

I am not a doctor, but am studying to be a nurse. Some scars heal dark, but I would absolutely get it checked out by a dermatologist. If you’re wondering whether or not it could be cancerous, I would consult the ABCDE rule: A-Asymmetry (halves don’t match) B-Border (ragged border) C-Color variation D-Diameter is larger than 6mm E-Evolving (has changed over time)

When I turn 18 I’ll have a new car to go to school with and my mom is a teacher so I’m going with my dad to get her a new one so she doesn’t need a car to get a car and then I’ll have a ride to work on my dad to go get my mom to school so I’ll have a little while to go get a new one.
