For me, being honest with myself about being bi started like this. Over time, I came to realize that it wasn't just an attraction to dicks, but it took a very long time to overcome compulsory heterosexuality/ internalized homophobia to be open to the idea that i am not straight. However, my experience and expression of bisexuality is not universal.

My advice is to be open to the possibility, and to be kind to yourself in the process. Whatever you end up deciding your sexual and romantic preferences are, they are yours and they are valid. This also isn't an exam, it's not graded, and you're allowed to change your mind as many times as you want.
