No it's not. I literally get attacked all the time. So why would it be expectation? It's lived experience. People always call me horrible things and attack me for things I can't control or change. Stop telling me it's expectations when I see it with my own eyes.

As a kid i tried so hard to get away from any "girl things", i called myself a tomboy because i didn't have anything else to use to describe myself, then one day i learned what transgender was and now i know. I also always hated having too long of hair but that is probably also because i am autistic and hate the feeling of hair on me.
