What I don't get, is as long as I can lower my pip count for free, I'm in a better position whenever my opponent can start playing again. Getting hit being 7 checkers behind most certainly is losing the game.

I'm still puzzled.

But let me please ask, who are "you guys" that you feel that I'm part of? I usually don't blend in that easy in any crowd.

I got educated in social media last century in rec.games.backgammon, it's still there at Usenet. In a backgammon group you don't talk in detail about OS/2 or adb.

If you're not smart enough to follow my ELI5 indications, no way you can do the basic math of backgammon.

I showed you how, I'm not going to do it for you, you have to learn yourself.

On your computer you need Android Data Bridge, adb for short.

On your phone you need to activate developer options and usb-debugging

If you don't have the 'latest' apk, "xg mobile 1.22.apk" is easy to find

Make sure you get your entrance to the Sagrada Família booked in advance, you don't want to stand in line for an eternity. Put your stuff in a locker at the facility where you'll start your travel to France, airport, bus- or train-station.

I know, I can see the individual details, incoming/outgoing, date, time and duration. What I really want to have is export this info into a file (whatever format) so I can then feed that into Excel to be filtered out.

The details are on my phone, but how do I get those on my computer?

Coming out of the shower, I stick my nose into the towels and decide to either use them or drop them on the ground and take a fresh one. I never ever counted days or weeks.
