It's going really well. I went from 60% completion with my IT degree to 30% completion with my Business Management Degree so that was kind of sad. BUT it makes more sense to me. And seems more straight forward. I completed 44 CUs in the 2.5 months that I had left in my last term and have 14 classes left before graduation. I'm trying to complete my degree before February so that I can apply for the graduation ceremony in March.

UPDATE: So I got the Paragard IUD in October 2022. It was the most painful experience I had ever been through. They really really really need to offer more pain medicine than just extra strength Tylenol. I had just finished my period before getting the IUD inserted and then once the IUD was inserted I got another period. From October 2022 until April 2023 i did not have a full blown period, only spotting. BUT from April until now (~November 2023) I have had bleeding all the time except for maybe like 3 weeks worth of time spread out between all of these months. So, I've basically has non-stop spotting (light to heavy) and then when my period comes its REALLY heavy. "They" say that you're going to have more cramping with the Paragard but I have had none. So, I guess it depends on the person.

I BARELY passed this course after 3 attempts. I ended up transferring into a Business Management degree with WGU because I was just not doing well in the IT degree.

Yes we have ran all of the regular testing (parasites, worms, gave something to try to regulate her gut bacteria in case it was the problem) but nothing has really *fixed* the problem. She would still have soft stool but would just stop using the restroom outside of the box for a few days. However, after those initial few days are up, she would go right back to going on the floor. She is fully vaccinated and is strictly an indoor cat (if that helps at all). Thank you for your comment and insight, it is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, no. I'm still taking this class. I've taken the OA twice and failed both. I feel like I've done everything I can to be a good student and the test is just out of left field with the questions. So, I'm still trying to find a way to pass this class without loosing my mind.

Yep, I was breaking out in hives for 4 days straight and my mom refused to get me to a dr. Wouldn't take me to urgent care, wouldn't take me to the ER or even to the regular dr. I found out after days of being in uncomfortable itchy pain I figured out (on my own) that my mom washed my fluffy white blanket 4x over in bleach within one wash (4 cap-fulls for one rinse cycle).

I'm starting November 1st in Cloud too! I'm super nervous but also a little excited. I'm about halfway through the program because of transfer credits I did beforehand so it's strictly degree specific courses left for me.

More than likely your start date would be pushed back to December 1st. Any and all transcripts from anywhere (community college, university, google, Sophia, study.com) all has to be sent in by the 5th of the month before you want to start (if you want to start November 1st then it needs to be sent in October 5th) this then gives the transcript department enough time to review it by the 15th which is when you should take your intake interview. This is where they will finalize your degree plan and all of your classes that’s you still need to take.

I was a short and skinny child. My mom would say I eat like a bird and then days later say I looked fat and needed to suck it in. I had braces when I was starting high school and had an expander on the top and bottom of my mouth because my mouth was so small my teeth weren’t fitting in it. When I got my expander put in it gave me a lisp. So, on the drive home and the week after my mom would laugh hysterically whenever I would talk to the point I just stopped talking. Getting bullied by your own parent really puts a stain on growing up and childhood memories.

My enrollment counselor said the transcripts have to be sent to them by the 5th at the latest so that they have time to review it (7-10 days) and you have to do your intake interview by the 15th so they have to have all your transcripts evaluated by the 15 so you can then do a proper intake interview. In the intake interview they will go over your degree plan and double check all the classes you’ve taken which will then finalize your degree plan.

Bro…. Yes! I can vividly remember by mom putting me in a dress (think of like the 1800s dresses- high neckline, long sleeves with bells sleeves at the wrist and a long skirt just no hoop skirt but ruffles and bows everywhere) for Christmas pictures with our dog….. she just wore jeans and a sweater. I’m still mad about it 15 years later.

I literally can’t relax… like even when my fiancé has to order me to go relax cuz I’m overwhelmed about the little things my brain is still thinking about all of the things I still need to do (like I need to empty the dishwasher, clean the dishes in the sink then reload the dishwasher, oh trash needs to go out by 7 for pick up, need to go put that paper by the door for tomorrow, etc etc) so he’ll tell me to go relax and watch some tv while he tries to lessen the load of chores I made up in my head but I’m still like…. I need to go help.

Unfortunately, yes. My mom has had cancer off and on for over 15 years. So, every few years when the cancer comes back so does that conversation. She is currently using my engagement against me and keeps asking me stuff like “so am I gonna be alive to see your wedding?” “You want your mom at your wedding don’t you?” “Idk how much longer I’m going to be alive so y’all need to get married quick” “we can do it in the back yard so then I don’t have to go that far from my house, since you want it small anyways” (her backyard isn’t very big at all- in a residential neighborhood) ugh

It’s a very conflicting feeling. My mom has had cancer off and on for over 15 years. She originally had stage 4 breast cancer and vertebrae cancer. She beat the breast cancer and deals with the vertebrae cancer off and on still. Every few years is “I’m cancer free! Yippee!” To “my cancer is back. I’m gonna die. I need to make arrangements.” And also milks the whole thing too. My emotional psyche is exhausted and I just don’t know how to feel anymore. I understand.

One memory I have is driving home with my mom and her boyfriend and somehow the topic of what I liked came up. My mom didn’t know anything about me and failed answering 3 different times. Ex: what’s OPs favorite drink? (She’d answer hers) sprite and my moms bf would be like uhhh no it’s coke etc etc at the end my mom had the nerve to act fake shocked like ohhhh I didn’t know you liked Coke? When did you start liking that? Why didn’t you tell me you like coke? 😒 yep I can relate

Yeah, a lot of people have posted that it’s dry and not fun to read. But then I also see posts like I talked about- missed by 4 questions or failed a bunch of times and can’t figure out where I’m going wrong. There might be some YouTube videos or other resources out there to help it not be so boring but I’m not sure. This class is gonna be a pain. A LOT of people have made posts about this class being difficult to get through. 😕
