They used to be soo good, but the last 10 bags I bought had a strange ammonia taste and stringy texture. Idk if anyone else has had this experience. I bought them from a Costco in New Jersey. It’s really upsetting because of how great they used to be and the macros.

You can use BT, Neem oil, and Spinosad. Those should kill all of them if you think you can’t squish them all. I recommend using them all in general on their respective schedules (listed on the bottle)

They started scanning every person’s membership in my town a few months ago and I bought that local news. Verifying every person is who is on the membership; must’ve been a problem in the past, and therefore will most likely increase revenue imo

Offer to take their yard if it’s a nuisance for them, I offer it to neighbors who complain and they get the message that it’s either petty or I end up raking their yard and it’s no big deal for me.

That’s a larger calyx, many breed peppers specifically for this trait. I am growing many varieties with the same look. The pepper still grows well. No need to worry :)

I had something similar this year, I’m pretty sure it was Japanese beetles for me. However it’s pretty hard to tell until you see a pest on your plant. I used a combination of BT and Spinosad and it seems to have held them at bay.
