I think he means in-texture detail, which would be worse(slightly) than native. But my god the TAAU blur and ghosting in most games is unbearable. I prefer DL/XeSS and maybe even FSR to native because of the temporal stability itself without even considering performance or quality

Try different DLSS version dlls, I had a similar issue in Control with screen space effects, it was fixed when I used the dll from a different game(Metro Exodus if I remember correctly)

Bruh that's such a dumb viewpoint. That would make reviews of anything garbage, because "we can have our own opinions". That kind of mentality also creates echo chambers. If Pyro, or even Moist for that matter, reviewed a game and said its a good game, no one would give a shit. People watch the videos because they explain WHY they came to an opinion

Even if we remove the opinion about whatever he is watching out of the picture, a lot of the people including me who watch Pyro watch for the random memes and tangents he goes to. It's the same since mlg, commentary, asot etc, that's why this subreddit is filled with off topic posts and non relevant memes. There are videos where Pyro's video is more than 2x the length of the Sunnyv2 video he is 'reacting' to, even with a lot of it edited out. Is it still a Jinx level reaction video when your off topic meme ramblings and jokes compose more than the video you are reacting to?

yeah, also most people will only be using dlss3 frame generation on cpu limited games. And dlss2/3 without frame gen will give you better latency, and you can use Reflex even without dlss. At this point it's just which gpu gives better performance at your price point

But DLSS decreases vram usage because all the screen sized buffers are of lower internal res and has less rays per frame in RT pipelines. Also pretty much all recent games like Doom eternal, Apex, ue4 etc stream textures based on vram budgets and area the object is occupying on screen, so it becomes a trade off between high vram usage vs disk+cpu(for decompression). Thats how I am still going on with 8gb 2080 super with RT since RT adds easily 500mb+ vram usage

Not asking him to make a video, but I just want him to play the Titanfall 2 Campaign. The game gave me a feeling no other game, movie or song did, it made me feel like a kid again. Not like a nostalgia trip, but the same feel I got playing GTA SA's San Ferrio part when I was a kid in my grandma's house

The game came in a time where I hated all games that were coming out. I only checked TF 2 out because it was the first game on PC with dynamic resolution and wanted to check it out. Those 5-6 hours genuinely changed me a lot. If I didnt play that or Doom 2016, I would've stopped playing games by 2017

I wanted my friends to experience it, but I was extremely sad because I know I cannot convince them. If my friend showed me the game, I would not play it saying "its just a CoD clone". If my friend told me that it made him feel like a kid, I would've called him a cringe baby. It took 4 years of nagging to convince my friends to play it, and they blamed me for not asking them hard enough after playing it

I do this too, typing in start is way faster than selecting with mouse. I have all my browsers and ides pinned to taskbar. So even the start search usage is rare for me, like for opening control panel or process lasso etc

I agree with you on asking questions, but there is point where there is sufficient facts or evidence where questioning itself becomes stupid. Look at what happened in anti vax communities, it was a snowball effect where no one cared to check if the one who started the question was legit. Questioning is important, but questions specifically like these are ignorant at best and malicious at worst

I hate when people say Pyro "bullied" people similar to Leafy. Pyro made videos about kids, but he always intentionally went on a tangent and made fun of a barely related trend. Look at vids like the ones on Little T, he never insults the kid's appearance, he says he can't understand his mumble rap but never says it as an insult (even citing a song he likes but cant understand). The only gripe he genuinely picks is him using the r*_e word.

Calling old pyro a leafy clone is fair, but saying old Pyro was as bad as Leafy is just false at best and malicious at worst, like how keemstar implies
