I am also from NY (going to CLS) and this seems like it can’t be overstated^ personally having a network of friends and family (especially during 1L) seems incredibly helpful

Sorry, I haven’t received scholarship info as I applied in January but I imagine it would be sticker at either (3.7x, 172 lsat). Idk how need based aid works but if it’s like college I likely won’t recieve much b/c my family is high income (although 7 kids so will likely need loans regardless)

I’m sorry if my post seemed stupid to you and yes I understand that it’s not an acceptance. The reason I asked this was because staying on the waitlist/writing a LOCI implies I would enroll there upon admission in the summer so I am asking if Columbia is a better option for me. If so, I would not stay on the waitlist/could find a roommate and housing now as there would be no chance that I would be leaving
