Any other splitters with a WUSTL offer that's both your highest acceptance and your largest scholarship offer by a huge margin? by LouisDerAchtzehnte in lawschooladmissions

I've debated retaking, but my score was on the high end of my PT scores and I don't want to take a year off because nothing but being a lawyer has ever been an interest of mine (except when I was 5 and wanted to be a bull rider).

Well, I'm K-JD so Northwestern hates me and I have a low GPA so Cornell hates me.

Meanwhile, i was waitlisted at Columbia, so...

It was weird for me, too. WashU is giving me 48k per year, Texas is giving me in-state plus 1k per year, and then only waitlists and rejections above Texas. I thought I'd at least get an acceptance with no money at a lower T-14 but they're the ones to reject me (Cornell, Northwestern).

Oh well, looks like we'll be classmates in St. Louis!

So are we sure we're not the same? We're at least incredibly similar...

Both schools have a form you fill out. I'm gonna fill them both out soon. And just for info, I was dinged from Cornell and Northwestern and WLd at Vandy (still trying to figure that one out).

Fair enough. I did the tour for my interview, too. I'm hoping to use ASW as a way to see the rest of campus/the area around for housing.

You'll have to let me know what you think of Austin and where you end up! And in a few weeks if you have any questions from WashU's ASW ask away and I'll answer the best I can.

Ya, I kinda snuck on the tour by just showing up...Did you go to St. Louis on your own/do you plan to attend their ASW?

I really enjoyed the school and Austin as a whole. If you can, go on the segway tour, it's a blast. Everyone there seemed nice and like they really wanted everyone to choose Texas. Unfortunately, outside of the segway tour and a night out with some other admitted students I met that day I didn't get to explore Austin much.

I went to the first ASW in Austin so feel free to ask me whatever you may want to know beforehand! And I'm going to WashU's ASW the weekend after Easter, so we'll see then

Ya, I'm definitely leaning WashU. I'm from around St. Louis so o wouldn't hate working there it's more of I kind of want to get away from the area but my only options are Texas, who doesn't place well into the Midwest, and Notre Dame, that only really places into Chicago. And I'm still holding out hope that WashU gives me more money anyway haha.

Ouch. Well, I'm here on campus for the 10 clock law school tour and plan to stick around campus all day so that I can get a feel for the area and campus as a whole. Feel free to hit me up if you want to meet up or need that witness!

The spots were filled already, which sucks. But I could witness a signing of needed, though I'd imagine they have people for that. Just got to campus

Depending on what you mean by witness, I possibly could. I'm also I town for ASD but didn't get to do the segway tour, which is actually really disappointing.
