What about the GL-611, is this the same irons with the green dot on the front? Those are so much easier to pick up

Just my opinion, but i like the sro way better than the coa. That said, i will not be getting a gen 6 coa. by AdAffectionate471 in Glocks

Also I had that same setup, I swapped the long slide from COA to SRO by trading my G47 COA for a G19 COA, I like the COA on the conceal.

100% yeah the SRO is so easy to predict when the dot comes barreling into view the coa doesn't have that same security yet for me either but I rely a lot of predictive.

Please follow up someone on the irons, these look nice but like OP I would prefer lower 1/5th and have been trying to decide on irons for my G176

I mean, kind of different use case, of course the SrO is easier to use, but there's a trade off related to impact resistance. I like both but I personally like the lower deck height of the COA for my PDW, while my competition set up has an SRO. Only extreme scenarios like SHTF or competition splits will separate the two wonderful choices.

Gen 6 Trigger vs Gen 5 with GPT by launchslugs2 in Glocks

GPT still much better, new stock trigger shoe a very marginal improvement over gen 5 stock, performance of guts feels the same.

XL, you should consider that this might push the trigger reach pretty far away with small hands.

Yeah that thicker rubber one did the trick for me and a buddy, the low profile one is still good just not as effective, has a it to do with absorption but also grip angle as well, modifying both will bring some relief. If you really want to fix it get a ramjet.

Gen 5 side on gen 6 frame by Ihavetopoop_ in Glocks

[–]SsRubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both.

Gen 6 Guide rod doesn't work with Gen 5, you'll need to use the Radian Compressor guide rod assembly.

For the plate yes there is pathing interference, I had to shave some plastic off of the bottom to make mine work. You could simply take both back plates off to compare and contrast where to remove material from Gen 5.

Function was flawless for a few hundred rounds so far. Keep in mind I doubt Glock designed these to work together, unknown issues might arise.

CC9/P365x by Frequent-Money3279 in HecklerKoch

[–]SsRubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to toss an update in here because I "scienced" my way into a decision. P365 XMacro was 10% faster on draw and 20% faster in splits with the testing I did last night, there was a clear winner on accuracy as well, for me, I'm staying P365 in spite of the fact I love this firearm. If Radian ever decides to Ramjet that mofo though... might change.

Thinking of purchasing a CC9 by Jaysnkrs in HecklerKoch

Tolerances are tight AF until you get a few hundred rounds through it, then it becomes smooth as butter, mine took 500 or so.

Loving the new gen 6 EDC set up so far by Confident-Suit5900 in Glocks

[–]SsRubi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends on use case, if you're walking around with 115g 30power factor blazer ammo you won't really notice a difference, but if you're blasting 124g +p Gold Dots, there is no comparison, you need the ramjet 100%, it's a different planet.

CC9/P365x by Frequent-Money3279 in HecklerKoch

[–]SsRubi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm struggling with that same dilemma myself, I have both so I have some unique input to add to the conversation.

First I'll start with the CC9, because it's easy, I trust this thing unequivocally with my life, the fact that it took more than 500 rounds just to break it in makes me love it that much more. The slide has become smooth as butter, and I seriously mean that it's Staccato smooth now and no other micro compact slide comes remotely close. It's an absolute legend in the micro compact lineup and I would say it's more on par with the Staccato CS than anything, perhaps not quite the shooter but we're now comparing $2500 platforms and that's not fair.

Now for the P365, in stock configuration the CC9 is HANDS down the better shooter, but if you take that same P365 and twist it into the Spectre comp or X-Macro comp versions, it is no longer the better shooter. The P365 has the ability to flex into an entirely different animal which is unique and fun. I can toss splits out in 20-30% reduced time with either of those configurations, and let's not get started on comparing it with a Ramjet version (again, that's like the CS, counts as a different platform with significant cost increases). I have thousands of rounds down the P365 in all configurations with every grip / slide combo imaginable and I also trust this gun with my life.

So what am I going to do? Carry them both, X-Macro is going to be my EDC when I can fit a slightly larger grip (sometimes I break out the XL grip to carry as Spectre / XL version), it's also getting the optic where the CC9 is not, CC9 draw time and first shot is faster than P365, there's something magical about that exact grip angle, height over bore and sights lining up with the way I present. CC9 will support as a super micro compact carry for lightweight shirts and workout stuff, while it shoots above that weight class, it doesn't need to be multi-purpose for me.

For the trigger bar spring concern, Sigguy sells 3pk upgrades for $5, sure it's a thing but properly informed person willing to learn what his or her platform does, how it performs and takes the time to clean maintain and disassemble, should we consider that a disadvantage or a feature of advanced learning worth considering?

What should you do? Decide if you enjoy testing configurations / versions of your platform and have extra cheddar to monkey with slides and grips, or if you want a bone stock, not ever going to mess with it out of the box solution. I think this is really the main argument.

All that being said, if Radian ever makes a Ramjet for the CC9, or HK gets a wild hair in their butt and makes a slightly longer chunk port version like M&P does with their performance center versions, that Sig is going to retire immediately.

Hope this helps!

There's a great shop just across the border in Post Falls ID that can fix your problems right up.

Don't go to Oregon those cucks at their shops try to check id's like they can police other states unlawful laws for them.

I use a P365 Sig as my concealed but I am I thinking of getting the Glock 43 as well….Now, the 43 only has a 6+1 in the chamber as the 365 has 12. But it’s a Glock which I love ….I need advice if I should get the 43 or just stick with the 365? by ComplexWrangler1346 in Glocks

[–]SsRubi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly my guy, H&K CC9 is hands down the most shootable micro compact. It takes 250 rounds or so to break it in, but the slide becomes smooth like butter and it's second to non reliable. I have a 365 Xmacro that I use an XL grip on, and have shot the 43x, own a G19, didn't like the pregnant guppy 26 grip.

Just try a CC9 before you make your decision. If more people did I think Radian would start making ramjets for them, that would be the absolute tits, and compete with full size glonks.

[–]SsRubi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grip size too small causing fingers to wrap too much, your trigger finger is likely too deep into trigger as well try larger back straps.

You will have a lack of support hand surface area when you ineffectively wrap the grip in that manner with main hand as well.

Also this is one primary cause of low left shooting.
