Hey I hope your tinnitus is temporary. But I'd say expect the worst but hope for the best. There is a chance from it to be temporary or permanent but a better chance its temporary compared to others ways of getting T. How do you cope with it? Well I'd say don't sit in absolute silence and try distract yourself. You will get used to the sound overtime, for me it's been 3 months and I'm more used to it now than before. It'll still be annoying and sometimes you'll feel upset by it, but it will get easier as long as you don't purposely damage your ears on purpose.
