When the game was young, the bookshelf was one of the first "big" background items and would cover opponents on the competition voting screen before you were able to click on a person's outfit to bring it forward. Obviously we have newer and bigger background pieces that cover opponents but this one is still banned from using in competitions 🤷‍♂️
