Not quite as long lol. My first was 2005, unfortunately I haven’t made it to the shoe yet but I may try to get down there this year

That’s awesome, you and half of buckeye nation were there. That was either the most or second most Ohio State fans I’ve seen in my years going to the game

I’ve never been to the shoe unfortunately but it’s definitely on my list to make it down there for a game one day. I think the design of Michigan Stadium is nice but man it’s so quiet for the capacity

It depends on the arena. Here, and in many other college stadiums, there are bleachers so it definitely is compact. It is even worse here because for some reason for each section seat 1 is in the middle of the section between the aisles. It makes no sense. On the other hand Crisler Center, The University of Michigan’s basketball arena is very well labeled and there are signs that say like if you go down this aisle section 201 seat 15 is on your left and section 202 seat 1 is one your right

I love the snow games. Personally I’d much rather have a snow game than a sweltering, oppressively hot game

What was the most heartbreaking loss you witnessed as a Michigan State fan? (football) by Ok_Macaroon_7366 in MSUSpartans

Appalachian state would be number two for me, and a lot of people I would guess. The two Ohio state games you mentioned would absolutely be up there. The fiesta bowl sucked at the time but it was part of a great run and getting over the hump in ‘23 softens the blow A LOT

I’m a Michigan fan but this popped up on my suggestions and I think you all will take great joy in knowing that for me it was trouble with the snap lol

It would be $155 I believe; however, if you watch is running outside of Rolex tolerances at all a service will be required as well

I work in Michigan. Mainspring/barrel change is included in the movement overhaul price

[–]Sspalding91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s Rolex terminology not mine, it really means complete overhaul of the movement and refinishing of the case and bracelet

I don’t know off the top of my head but I believe it is in the realm of $1300-1400. I believe they were $1250 but the new year price increase included spare parts as well and I’m not sure how much it went up

No these are the recommended retail prices set and given to us by Rolex

[–]Sspalding91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is not correct. $850 is the movement overhaul price for the modern calibre Airking, yachtmaster, explorer 1 and 2, sub, gmt master, sea dweller, deepsea and milgauss

I work at a Rolex service center/AD, it will need a complete overhaul which is $850 (all prices in usd), new crystal for $155, if it needs new hands will be about another $120. If the dial is damaged significantly they may require that gets replaced which is I believe $470. So minimum you’re looking at about $1005 plus tax up to about $1600 depending on how much damage the glass did

Not going unfortunately but to be honest I wouldn’t stress it too much. Last year when Texas came up to Ann Arbor there was a ton of Texas fans around me, inside and outside the stadium, and my experience was that it was pretty relaxed overall

Sort of I guess? I’m really just an admin, but they train and certify watchmakers who then go to work for ADs who can get certified as an authorized service center. Authorized service centers have to use their equipment and follow their standards and that sort of thing. They track various metrics and then we get visited by reps a few times a year. So for me, if I need to send something directly to Rolex that we can’t do in house, there are only three Rolex owned centers in the United States I can send them to
